How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The fairly breakfast waiter who never smiled (there were two, and the other one was super).
Super location on a quiet street - just around the corner from shops etc. and a short walk to the centre of the City. Hotel had such character - lots to look at, very 'Spanish' feel rather than holiday feel. Staff (except one of the breakfast waiters, who did not smile!) were all truly outstanding. Roof terrace fab - loved the small jacuzzi, loungers, plants etc. Loved the quirkiness of the hotel - sometimes quirky means difficult, but not in this case. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel was happy to keep our cases in a locked room after check-out time .... so we could spend the afternoon and evening, before our flight home, having a lovely time in Seville. Absolutely loved it.

Breakfast, went down each morning to empty dishes not much choice did not replenish food in the buffet very poor despite asking for fresh food to be brought out.
The hotel was good for seeing the sites good location. A special thank you to the lady receptionist she was excellent given her a gold star

The location and history of these two - now joined - 1700s homes make this a magnificent place in Sevilla. Close to all the special monuments and the Cathedral, as well as restaurants and lively action. All on a perfect, quiet street. Add in the great staff - especially Juan and Maria Teresa - and the spectacular art and sculpture, and there is no better place in Sevilla.

Bed very hard and poor pillow support. Bathroom was poorly designed and the smell of drains ever present. The towel rail in the shower was placed to ensure the shower door could only partially open. The door lock to our room was known to be temperamental, which meant we had to ask for assistance on a few occasions during our 4 night stay.
Beautiful old building. Staff very friendly and helpful. A real oasis of calm in a busy, noisy city. Lots of lovely quiet areas to sit and read at the end of the day. Nothing too much trouble for the staff.

The hotel rooms were very expensive, most likely because of the La Feira festival.
The hotel is in a quiet location in Old Town. Parking 5' walk from property. The staff was extremely helpful and professional.

Having to leave to come home!
Fantastic hotel with very attentive staff. From the greeting on arrival to the service at breakfast we were made to feel special. The bedrooms and communal areas are exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location at just 5 minutes from the cathedral and Real Alcazar and central for everything else is a bonus. Cannot recommend this hotel enough and would always return when visiting Seville.

Breakfast was excellent: food quality, linen, etc and staff. Location was very good. I liked the layout of the hotel and the open areas, but we did not see it at its best as the weather was cold and wet.

Lovely breakfast, great location walking distance to all the main attractions and accessible by bus from the airport (€4 so no need for an expensive taxi), comfortable room with a comfy bed. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Really enjoyed our stay even though it rained!

The breakfast room was very snug. Sometimes we had to wait for a table. Even on our last day we came down at 8.30, the hot breakfast on offer was stone cold. I wouldn't do the breakfast option again.
The roof terrace was nice as we're the staff. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to everywhere.
