Probably the best hostel I‘ve ever stayed in

The dormitories are clean and comfortable, they offer a good amount of space and privacy. Breakfast with a lot of choices. The hostel provides everyday a different a program (like movie night, beer pong, quiz night…) and has suggestions for trips in and around the area of Bilbao. I really enjoyed staying here! :-)

I have stayed here a few times over the years and I must say it is exceptional. Great if you are on a Camino de Santiago. Great location... fantastic beds with curtains.

I wanted accommodation close to the train station as I was taking an 07.00 train to Madrid, and LATROUPE couldn't have been better located..less than 30 seconds from the station, AND right on the major shopping street. This is a luxury hostel, it's beautiful and extremely comfortable with a lot of added extras too. I would definitely stay here if and when I come back to this fabulous city!!

Everything was more than perfect!!

Probably the best hostel i ve ever stayed. The room and the rest place were very clean. The beds comfortable. The staff very helpful and you could find someone throughout day and night. It' s in walking distance from the old town.

Room faced the main plaza and the futbol playoffs were happening so it was quite noisy all night long.

The team: Dimitri, Daniel and the others, whos name unfortunately I dont remember, were the best! profesional, super friendly and warm hearted! Location ist top! Breakfast very good, so is the the roof top for cooking.

The bathroom facilities in the room are weird, with the sink in the room (not great if you need to turn on the light while people are sleeping) and a shower with no dry/wet separation.

The whole thing feels more like a hotel than a hostel, which is nice, but also a bit odd. Nice, quiet room with bed with curtains. Shower with actual hot water, and reliable access with keycards.

Very small room but fine if you don’t have masses of luggage. The shower in the four bed mixed dorm was not very pleasant and the door didn’t lock which would have been particularly bad if I was travelling solo.

I did really enjoy my stay there, but a couple of things which are not really complaints, just notes: - Due to the breakfast being served in the kitchen, the kitchen/co-working space is not available until 11am - and you can also not make your own breakfast until after they have cleaned up (naturally as the space is used for breakfast) - The toilets in the room had no "sound proofing" at all, so it was almost like there is no door - very little privacy

The hostel, as they also advertise themselves as, felt more like a hotel but with the hostel vibe. The dorms have beds with curtains so it gives a feeling of privacy, each room also ahe shower and toilet in them - and it was nice and clean everywhere. Beds were comfy and there was a big drawer to put your stuff in which also could be locked with a padlock (bring your own or I believe you could rent one from the hostel). The location is in the middle of the city so you can walk everywhere, or take public transport which is right outside the entrance. The staff was super friendly and helpful :D The hostel had various activities happenig each night, from Karaoke to movie night. They also have a WhatsApp group you can join where they come with daily recommendations on what to do in the city, or if you are a solo traveller you can write thee to get in touch with other solo travellers (or anyone else that joined the group). There was a good mix of poeple, from solo travellers, to families and groups of friends - from all ages. I stayed there for a week and also worked a bit, and there is a nice kitchen/co-working area on the top floor very suitable for remote work. In the Kitchen there was a small fridge to store some food, it's a small kitchen but have the neccesary equipment to make some food yourself such as a small stove, microwave, and cooking utensils. I had the breakfast one of the days and it was very good. There was bread, ham, boiled eggs, cheese, jams, nutella, cereals various coffee, some fruit, pastry etc - I was surprised how nice it was considering it is also a hostel :) They had time slots for the breakfast so the room was not overcrowded with people trying to find a seat which I appreciated.

Breakfast upstairs on Level 6 was excellent quality but had to stand around too long to get a table! Breakfast in the bar was very insufficient!
