The price of breakfast which was very expensive.

This is a lovely hotel on the seafront. The hotel bar is a lovely place to sit and people watch. The rooms are lovely and comfortable with big clean bathrooms. Some of the staff are a bit abrupt but mostly they are friendly and work very hard. We did not book breakfast and at 26euros we didn't try it. We had breakfast in the bar most mornings and this was relaxed and the food was good.

We were there in February and wanted to swim, which we did, but could not access the beach trough the hotel underground facilities as it was "out of swimming season". Instead we had to walk in wet swimming clothes on the pavement and through the main hotel entrance. The sea was anyway gorgeous and worth the effort.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely breakfast with a wide range of choices, anything from tortilla to cake and nice croissants (classic and whole grain) and lots of yummy fruit.

Excellent location. Seaview rooms were very comfortable with a great view. Staff were all very friendly and helpful especially Izaskun who helped us with our next booking. Car parking although not on site, was easily accessible.

Incredible. Best hotel during my 3 weeks in Spain. Loved stepping out of the hotel to a wonderful walking path along the bay, as well as neighborhood walks. Delicious variety of choices for the breakfast buffet. High quality food with many healthy choices. Excellent all around.

Although the property inside and out was fabulous, the interior doors of all hotel rooms were massively heavy yet beautiful. And throughout the night and day as well, the doors were slammed causing reverberation in many rooms down the hallways. Not only were many guests oblivious to silently closing the doors, the housekeeping staff was equally negligent in that need as well. It was quite annoying for our week long stay that actually warranted using ear plugs at night to sleep.

The property was well situated in San Sebastian with easy walking distance to many eateries, shops and important architecture. We really enjoyed the staff (but especially the concierge - Izaskun) as they were very helpful with all questions and needs. The food on site was very good though there were many options for food and drink very close by

Fantastic room with a sea view; unlike many so-called luxury hotels this is the real thing: Large, spacious, & comfortable. The bar is very nice, we enjoyed sitting there with drinks in the evening before heading out for dinner or pinxos. Or just for a gentle stroll along the boulevard…

Breakfast was very expensive at EUR 26 per person so we opted for a local café instead.

We had the smallest of the double rooms and it was still more than big enough. Very comfortable and clean room. Very comfortable bed, big bathroom with lovely big bath towels, bath robes and slippers available. Tea/coffee making facilities were also very welcome. Super location on the seafront, close to shops and cafés and restaurants.

Location was perfect, right on the beach. Our sea view room was fabulous, the view amazing. It felt like we were on the beach! Our room was spacious and the bathroom had everything and was very roomy. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, can't remember all their names but front desk and the head concierge gave good restaurant recommends and managed to get us into a great steak restaurant at the last minute. A fautless stay and would be a definite recommend and a future stay when in san sebastian.

Everything was perfect. My favorite thing were the "Night Lights" on either side of the toilet - weird to say, but if you have to get up in the middle of the night in a strange room, finding the toilet is essential. Plus it had all the controls for warm water and a fan to dry! The best bathroom ever with the solid black marble veined slabs and mirrored infinity effect! Very chic experience.

Super location, super view on the beach, great rooms. Since I lived for a while in Donostia I dreamed of staying there for some nights. 40+years later I did it! No disappointment at all!
