How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything from the communication prior to arrival, the welcome we received, the decration of the hotel, the lovely room, comfy bed, great shower.....and in a great position....Oh! And a wonderful breakfast

The host was kind, helpful and informative. The building itself was beautiful inside and out, and in an incredible location in the old town. The caves underneath were something special. Room was comfortable, large, and well decorated.

Nothing we didn't like.
Room very comfortable, very well designed small hotel. Owners very welcoming. When we were lost after a tiring day's driving the owner came and found us and welcomed us with a glass of wine. We are very grateful to Cristina & Juan. Breakfast wonderful too. Will stay again.

A beautifully redone old building in Requena's old town. The interior and rooms are updated and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The family that runs this B&B is very friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again. Excellent location to explore Requena's old town and a short walk to the main avenue of Requena (Avenida Arrabal). While there tour the old town (map provided by the hosts), stop in to a few places to sample wine, tour the castle and be sure to do the tour of the Cuevas de la Villa. If you do the tour of the Cuevas de la Villa ask the hosts to see their cave (you'll have a better appreciation for it if you first see the Cuevas de la Villa). Take a walk on Avenida Arrabel in the evenings. On Saturdays there's also a large market there.

Be aware that you’ll have to navigate narrow streets if you want to park near property.
Beautiful escape from tourist crowds on the coast. An excellent base to explore Valencia’s best wine region.

What a gem! we were looking for a stop over between Granada and Barcelona and we were blown away by this beautiful quaint village and an amazing hotel It has been done up beautifully with attention to detail Breakfast was awesome! Would definitely recommend and return

Nothing at all
We couldn’t have found a better place to stay for the first night of our motoring tour of the area. It was clean, fantastic decor & a wonderful host in Juan, backed up by Christina. Juan came to our rescue when we found ourselves lost among the narrow streets which was due to an error I put into our SatNav. As it was a Sunday evening he telephoned around to see which restaurants were open & gave us detailed directions. There was safe parking outside. Absolutely first class breakfast, I cannot praise Los Canilleros enough. Requena a is also a nice town to wander around too. You will not be disappointed if you book a stay. 😃😃👍

This property, which is in the old town, was amazing. we stayed for only one night, but would recommend it for a longer relaxing stay. The area is quiet and very walk able. We would return.

A lovely, authentic and cozy B&B in the heart of old Requena. We were able to park right outside, The host was very kind and friendly and went out of his way to recommend local points of interest and provide us with tickets to the Cuevas. We enjoyed an exceptional breakfast the next morning (especially the yummy croissants from a nearby Panaderia). Definitely recommend for anyone travelling to the Requena/Utiel area.

All was perfect. Loved our stay.
Authentic period decor with modern accents. Owner was extremely kind, helpful and generous with amazing breakfast and helpful tips about the historic village.

There is no parking directly at the building but easy to find free and safe public parking within easy 200m walk.
The location was perfect for visiting Requena and the surrounding area. Los Canilleros is a beautifully decorated and equipped B&B made us feel like we were truly staying in a welcoming Spanish home.

Lovely, tranquil, beautifully decorated traditional house in the old part of Requena. Helpful, friendly family -run hotel. Couldn't fault it. Excellent breakfast.
