What's not to like about this hotel?! It's location is very central for getting to the main shopping and restaurant areas of Madrid, as well as the open-top bus tour bus stops . The Gran Via is only a 5 minute walk away, and the Museo del Prado only 15 minutes walk away. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room were fantastic; very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was a bit of an odd shape (I guess it's an old building), but there was room for the suitcases, plenty of wardrobe hanging space, and the bathroom was spacious as well. There was air con to keep the room cool. We arrived by car, so requested a space in the car park down the next street which was easily accessed. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of eggs and bacon cooked to order, as well as continental breakfast choices. We'd definitely stay here again.

For the price and star rating (4 stars) the room could be better (looks and feels old) If not for the location, staff readiness to support and professionalism, I would call it a slightly overpriced 3 star hotel.

The wood framed balcony doors are without enough sealing to eliminate the street noises.

However, bathroom was adapted for handicaps which is pretty good but it was not comfortable for us, before giving you the room they should mention this point and let you decide if yes or no.

They cleaned the bathroom with so much bleach the smell was completely overwhelming. great to know it was cleaned but they went completely overboard.

The location was absolutely perfect for restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. The room was really spacious and clean, and loved being able to have the balcony doors open.

The hotel is old and needs refurbishing . There is no decent lobby. You either have to sit in your room or go out from the hotel.

The location mainly. The rooms were clean. The receptionist were great and they helped in booking a tennis tournament for my husband to watch.

It’s in a very busy neighborhood that enjoys socializing until way past my bedtime. It was a bit noisy. But, it was “fun” noise so perfectly acceptable.

The breakfast was a great value and the service was spectacular. The staff was amazing!

Only decaf coffee pouches in the rooms. when i asked for regular coffee pouches, they answered that the hotel only carries decaf. How strange … Shower pressure wasn’t great .

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel room was big and the bathroom very big. The location was fantastic: very central but in a side street. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided.

We could not get the heating down in the room and could not close the window in the bathroom. As we were only staying for one night we didn’t ask for help, but I am sure they would have helped if they were asked. I would not recommend the breakfast. The staff was amazing but the selection was not enough for that price…

I have travelled a lot and met many service minded staff but these staff were just amazing! Super friendly and helpfull with any questions and nothing was too big or small. Clean and big rooms, perfect location with restaurants and metro close by.
