The host didn't disclose the exact location, so we met them at a nearby landmark. They then escorted us to the property, which was just a three-minute walk away. Their explanation for not sharing property details beforehand was due to security concerns regarding theft. However, this reasoning seemed questionable to me, given that they do provide this information to guests who have booked through trusted platforms. Although the apartment we received was nice, it wasn't the one we had booked. During the booking process, you'll typically encounter various property images, but upon confirmation, you may see specific apartment visuals that don't match the unit provided. This could be due to the property having multiple apartments and allocating them based on availability but it is not pleasent when you have paid for a specific unit and receive something else.

The host provided excellent assistance, and the location is highly convenient, with the metro station just a three-minute walk away. This makes it an ideal spot, especially for families needing easy access. There are plenty of nearby dining options, and the apartment itself is super clean with comfortable beds.

As we were staying five days, some washing machine powder would have been appreciated and an extra dishwasher tablet.

Host contacted me a few days before and gave good instructions on how to get there by public transport. Met us nearby and took us to apartment to run through appliances etc. Location was very convenient and apartment very comfortable, spacious and stylish.

Didn’t like the fact that I really didn’t get to see what the apartment looked like from the information online. This did cause some disappointment as I believed the window opened onto views of the cathedral. Not sure why a correct image wasn’t used as the apartment is stunning.

Beautiful spacious apartment, close to everything. It was spacious enough to invite my family over for pre drinks, which was a lovely way to catch up with family.

The property is delightful! The elevator can be tricky, but it’s a classic. :) Oh, one bad thing… the host is not lying when he says watch out for pickpockets. Barcelona is the worst pickpocket town I’ve ever visited.

Clean and nicely appointed apartment with new appliances and air conditioning in each room. Carrefour grocery and metro are a short walk over to las Ramblas.

having mentioned we arrive at 10-10:30pm and having given regular updates to our whereabouts the host was still late, leaving us stranded in the dark city streets following a long journey. on top of this we paid 20euro late checkin fee (understandable had they been there waiting for us upon arrival).

Excellent location and size. Kitchen is small but has everything one could need (Coffee machine, water heater etc.) Host was friendly and very responsive to all our questions. The apartment in quite even though the area is sometimes very busy. We would highly recommend the place, if you are a tourist in Barcelona.

Location, location, location. Walked everywhere including the beach. Metro was 5 minutes away making it easy to get to Camp Nou for the game. Apartment was clean and nice patio to relax on.

For check in, the host should provide a correct address/nearby business name so that the guests will know where to pick up the keys. The inside temperature control was not very good. The thermostat did not cool but fans were provided. The cooking range(Stovetop) was difficult to operate. Touch sensors did not work well.

When I rented the apartment, I was under the impression all the pictures were for the same appartment I was renting. This was concerning when I later realized it was a combination of photos of multiple locations. But I was very happy when I got to the apartment!
