Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWait time for a lift, in a morning it could be up to 20 minutes. For the number of people using the lift, staff needed their own service lift to use. The building old-fashioned and dated. Food was the same on all days in snacks, even in restaurants, very little choice. Football area for kids, way too small, very little for teenagers to do.

United KingdomPool bar was in the deepest part so you couldn't stand or get back with your drink without swimming, also not much of the pool for kids to swim safely as it is 80%deep. Stairs to water slides very slippy and seen lots of kids getting injured. Food was repetitive basic beige food with little choice of vegetables for the kids (but ice cream was a hit) beds hard foam but soft bed is a personal preference! Loud music playing untill 11.45 then all the clean up noise untill gone midnight. Room backed onto elevator so woke kids up from 7am after a late night. Some very drunk people in the pool falling over the kids and passing out on the pool side. Things getting stolen from your sun lounger, I saw a few people complaining of things getting pinched when they got in the pool. App was hard to use and book things then you had to pay for transport to get to the events. No clocks around so have to keep your phone or watch by the pool and risk it going missing. Lifts were a pain as you could be waiting 15mins for one to finally get to your floor or it was broken so had to walk 16 floors on a few occasions.
Staff were mostly helpful and friendly. Pool area and hotel lovely. Plenty of bars, Drinks were good and 90% premium brands. Lots of nice seating areas to relax. Soft play and park for kids was good. Water Park was good and plenty of life guards about. Ice cream machine in restaurant was a huge hit with the kids. The evening entertainment was good and have shows from 8.30pm -11pm. We got an early check in which really helped.you could get a sun lounger as long as you were by the pool by 9.15am. Also the air con in the rooms was great and a real life saver in the heatwave.

United KingdomThe staff were very abrupt sometimes rude when asked questions. The entertainment area was too small and didn’t accommodate all the guests. The food was ok but there was at least 2 nights when there was nothing on the menu to our taste, it was very much aimed at Spanish guests. There was no entertainment for the kids apart from the freezing cold pools which put lots of the kids off from going in. Unfortunately we had 2 days of rain when there was no activities put on and people just hung around the hotel all day, too many times people took glasses around the pool and one Dad jumped in and had to receive 7 stitches to a badly cut foot because of broken glass in the pool. This could very easily have been a child!!! Why would they not just give out the plastic cups all day and just use glasses at night? All and all for a family orientated hotel my family and I were very disappointed and would not go back nor recommend to others with kids.
The hotel was lovely, room very clean and spacious.

United KingdomSome of the food was hit and miss, the kids section in the main dining hall was always cold, I did mention it to a member of staff but she didn’t seem to know what to do about it. Otherwise a wide selection and cakes and deserts where very good.
It was good, we’ll laid out and entertainment for kids was very good, mostly in Spanish but I think that catered for the majority of the guests and my kids joined in and had fun anyway.

FinlandThe timetables are either missing or incorrect, beds and doors squek, toilet bowl leaks, elevators slow or broken. The dining hall was underground and a real disaster during busy hours.
There is plenty to do and plenty to eat, but lots of things like elevators are out of order or otherwise in need of repair. The room is nice and the view is lovely.

United Kingdomthe lifts to 18 floor on tower 2 always a problem. The room was grubby and needed update. our room floor was never cleaned it was always dark on 18th floor. Also always brooms and cleaning stuff around or rubbish left. or sheets black bags. so always stepping over bags or cleaning equipment. the area is not very spacious and easy to trip up things left on landing also with the big wardrobe outside our door. our mini bar got missed a couple of times probably because of the problems with the lifts. we spent lots of time waiting for lifts. we ordered a taxiand waited over an hour in the end we went for the bus. people were coming out and getting a taxi in front of us. the spa was good but don’t see why we had to pay for the hygiene twice. in the end we was late going because of the lifts so never bothered. wasted 15 euros. we also went to terra Natura and aqua Natura. but got told we couldn’t have food or drink there even though the ticket said we could. there was no entertainment for adults mostly based around for children which is nice for families but not adults.
location was good food plentiful bars plentiful games room swimming pool very nice some staff helpful

Francecustomer service was exceptional, from front desk to bartenders, entertainers, security, restaurant crew, cleaning crew everyone who worked there made it that more fun. So welcoming. only thing that let it down was the shop lady that worked in the evening on Wednesday 22nd June. She ruined it. her attitude was sour and seemed angry that I kept grabbing things to add on. all the other ladies that worked at that shop was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. but apart from her, the staff were incredibly amazing
activities suitable for all ages, our babies enjoyed it and so did our preteen kids
