How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Staff is slow in responding when we need a quick answer or assistance . Hot water supply in the bathroom is insufficient, especially for the second person to shower.
Spacious apartment and beautiful building. Location is very good. With a parking underneath the building is quite convenient.

The parking was a little tricky to find and the streets are extremely narrow. Google maps worked the best!
Great location. Really nice apartment with everything we needed. Valentina was lovely and met me at the car park. She sent me a list of restaurants and places to visit and was always available to answer questions.

Parking is tight for big cars.
Clean, pretty, comfortable, specious, good standard. Very good service for the check-in. Safe area, close to many things within 10 min walk. Parking lot is available and we used it which was convenient.

The only mirror was in the bathroom so a second one in bedroom would be good.
Beautiful apartment in a great location. In the old town close to Cathedral .The apartment has a parking space. The host was available at all times if we needed anything. We had everything we needed in the apartment.

Nothing, everything was perfect.
First of all Valentina and Thalia were amazing 🤩 so so helpful and went above and beyond to help 🥰 The apartment was fabulous, comfortable, clean, good size and had all that you would need. The location was great, walking distance to everything. I would highly recommend this place and I would be back in a heartbeat.

it was extremely difficult, like the crystal maze, we had a series of WhatsApp messages with instructions and pictures which needed deciphering. driving in Seville is really difficult due to the narrow streets and this place is in the middle of the narrowest of streets. If you didn't have a car it would be miles easier. took us 2 hours to find the flat from the directions with the one way system and tight streets. by the time we had found the place most restaurants were closed so had a McDonalds at midnight

It was hard to navigate to the parking location itself even with a GPS.
The host was wonderful. We had trouble finding the parking and they came to meet us. We really appreciated this. The location was amazing and we could walk to everything. Close to restaurants and a park for my little one. Area felt safe. Place was comfortable and clean.

It was a little difficult to find the parking garage but this may have been because some of the roads were closed to traffic due to the upcoming Easter events.
The location is great easy walk to main attractions. The apartment is in a quiet area and has parking underneath the property. The people who manage the apartment are very welcoming and helpful. If there are any issues they are quick to sort.

The apartment was walking distance to sights,the old town and many great restaurants. Was very clean, comfortable and had everything you needed to cook (if you wanted). Felt very safe walking in the area.

Hot water system is very small, so quick, short showers required.
Accessing the location by car is via a series of narrow laneways, but Adrianna gave excellent instructions ahead of time and met us on site to show us where to park & give us keys. The apartment is simply furnished, but comfortable & has everything you need for a stay of a few days. The location is ideal - walking distance to everything and being able to park for free was a real bonus.

staffs are not informative of the instruction of how to get to the place and access to the garage prior to arrival. pictures are deceiving, the apartment is very dark and bed is very small, no toilet paper is prepared for use. We end up leaving and stayed at a different accommodation.
