As the common area is above the rooms you can hear some noise when the guests are spending time there.

Owners are super nice and professionals. Property is beautifully decorated and managed. Breakfast was self cooked and absolutely delicious (tortilla was the best we have tasted). Views are great and location is perfect for visiting Wine Museum or the vineyards of Rioja.

Everything. The hosts are really friendly and willing to help in every detail. The location with views of the vineyards is amazing. Quiet location and within reach of many beautiful villages. The hotel itself is clean, cosy and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Breakfast is varied and with home-made products. The tortilla is a must. A warm welcome awaits you in Mar de viñas.

Everything was perfect

This is a charming hotel with stunning views. The hotel was immaculate with a spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and fresh and the couple who run the hotel were so lovely. San Asensio is a beautiful and friendly village. Loved that my dog was made so welcome. One star was putting me off but after reading reviews I booked. I can honestly say I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that are not a patch on this hotel. Please don’t ever pass it by as from arrival to leaving it was the most amazing experience. I have never seen sheets so white and the place is immaculate. A true credit to the owners.

The location is outstanding. Overlooking the vine area and close to many very nice places it is ideal to explore La Rioja. The hosts are very helpful and caring. The room has a fantastic view. The breakfast was good.

nothing everything was perfect

beautiful hotel, big room with view of vineyards, the owners, a young couple, was amazing and helped with lots of things (even when I got sick), very well decorated was met by a lit fireplace. also excellent breakfast. I travelled for over a month and this is by far the best hotel Ive stayed in. Location also great, outskirts of small village with wineries to visit and town square with local tapas bars.

The breakfast was a bit limited and repetitive.... Yet, the food offered was fresh and tasty

1) The hosts - so helpful and friendly; couldn't do enough for us, e. g. wrote a list of places to see and taste wines etc. 2) The location: end / start of the village, with great views of the countryside 3) The ease of getting to many towns and places in the Rioja region 4) An incredibly beautiful house with so many areas where one could sit / drink / look out

We were road tripping in North Spain - and book this b&b by chance ! what a find :) Location / value for money / amazing host/ view( believe me - its just perfect ;) We stayed up 2 nights instead of one .. Definitely will need to be back with friends - so they can experience Riocha region :)

The noise isolation is not the best, so you can expect to hear the people walking on the stairways or hallway - it was not a major point for us,

The size of the room and view from it was amazing, really nice breakfast and great hosts, super easy parking. Place itself was clean and pets were allowed - just keep in mind, that you need to take your pet with you everytime you go out (that was a bit of surprised to us, but at the end we managed...). There are also 2 terraces where you can relax.

The hotel is set in a lovely peaceful location in the vineyards with a beautiful view from the room. The hotel is very nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The couple who own the hotel are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They were very welcoming of our dog and catered for my husband’s gluten-free breakfast wonderfully- they even made a homemade gluten free carrot cake which was very tasty. Thank you!

Place is very well designed, thoughtfully chosen decor, spacious rooms with views of vineyards and mountains. There is also a small library/playing room, and a room you can share with other residents of the place, to talk, play board games or just enjoy a conversation. Beautiful spacious teraces, parking is available on the street. The owners are one of the utmost lovable and kind people! And they make the most scrumptious breakfasts, the tortilla and pumpkin cake are out of this world!
