The location (a historic village with restored houses) is very beautiful, very nicely located in the hills. The room is large and very comfortable , the breakfast is superior, and served as a dinner!

Everything was superb, the room, bathroom, stunning view from the room, the breakfast was excellent, best breakfast I’ve ever had! We had an expensive bike on our car roof rack, our host arranged for us to park the car in a locked secure car park. Superb and would love to go back!

Our room was large, the hotel was spotlessly clean and very fresh smelling, with probably the best views we have had from a hotel room, ever. Breakfast was divine and plentiful. One evening we purchased a cold bottle of white wine and sat listening to Spanish music on the terrace, marvelling at the undulations of the countryside. Medincelli is a beautiful little town, with glorious walking opportunities and so much history, we will definitely return.

That we could not stay longer!

Stunning views, amazing service, fabulous breakfast and a gorgeous, large room and bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble for the kind hosts, who gave us wine glasses and nuts for our aperitif as we waited for restaurants to open, plus a little treat for our drive the next day. Built into the Roman walls of this beautiful hilltop village with amazing restored Roman and medieval architecture, it is well worth a visit and we will stay again. Parking was free and right outside and the wifi was excellent. Thank you to our hosts!

Nothing open and I mean nothing. No restaurants at all. And I think the hotel staff could be more pleasant. I get we are probably an inconvenience but they are in hospitality.. you make your own mind up!

Very disappointed that both the bar and cafe at the hotel were closed in the evening especially as, being a Wednesday, all the restaurants in the village were closed. The one place that was open until 8 p.m. offered drinks and sandwiches or Spanish omelette - nothing hot.

Lovely old building very well designed for comfort. Far-reaching view. Wooden hangers! REALLY good breakfast.

A bar would have been nice

Very comfortable modern room with spectacular views. The hotel is right in the heart of this historic town with large private and secure parking. The breakfast, which was included was outstanding and consisted of fresh fruit, cheese & ham plus omelette etc etc.

Lack of information regarding the facilities available or information on surrounding restaurants bearing in mind there is no restaurant in the hotel. Recommended restaurant was actually closed during our visit.

Amazing views, a fantastic Breakfast, great location, will 100% stay there again. I have stayed in a lot of places over the last 30 years and the village is lovely and the hotel exceptionally clean and safe.

The hotel is located in an old building, yet everything inside is new and modern. Our room was large with a wonderful view over the surroundings. Breakfast was excellent, much better then in all other hotels during our trip to Spain.

The manager/owner was helpful but not warm or friendly. We didn't expect tea or coffee making facilities, but it seemed a little mean to not even have a glass in the room for water. If you need a quick or small breakfast, communicate this at the beginning; the manager didn't like to have his routine altered. On the other hand, the breakfast is delicious and very generous.

The hotel feels stylish and our room was very generous in size and had a spectacular view. The location is excellent and the breakfast delicious.
