Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomReally struggling to understand how h to is hotel is a 5 star?! It ok… I’ve stayed in nicer 4 stars, you can’t use the pool or spa unless you have an “upgraded room” which it doesn’t mention on booking, we paid €7.50 for a green tea with room service 😂 which I guess you can expect but just a heads up! The rooms were very dated, like maybe it was a 5star in the 90s not anymore… the staff were a little abrupt but to be fair everyone in Barcelona is like that… the view was nice as we were on the 17th floor but again that’s only because they had made a mistake and had no rooms left, the first night we slept on two singles which they then turned into a double on the second day. Defo wouldn’t stay here again, if I’d known better would spend the extra £100 and stay somewhere else! Also location isn’t great! 15 minute walk from closest metro

AustriaWe wanted to use the pool (as adverted on booking) but you need a reservation and even then you have to pay extra to go to the pool / spa area. And 20€ for 50 minutes entry time is quite a lot.
We had to stay because our flight got cancelled and we where positively surprised. The staff was very friendly and the room was big, clean and comfortable. The view was a huge bonus and also the bathtub was amazing. Personal bonus for me was the Rituals shower gel and hair products.

Nice hotel with lovely staff, Andres at the concierge was exceptional. Always helpful & friendly. The whole staff was very courteous. There is a little park a cross the street, nice restaurants nearby and 2 small grocery stores and a pharmacy for the essentials.

PolandAs highly respected AI scientists attending a conference, we had a mixed experience during our stay at this hotel. There were significant disappointments and security concerns that marred our stay. Despite our status as important contributors to the future of our population, we felt discriminated against by the staff, who appeared to judge us solely based on our age and appearance. The quality of service we expected was not met especially taking into account that we were The Level guests. During check-in, we were left to handle our heavy luggage on our own, with Mr. Hugo at the reception simply watching without offering any assistance, which was disheartening. Furthermore, the hotel collected passports from all guests for safety reasons, a measure we initially appreciated. However, there was a troubling security lapse when one of our colleagues arrived later. He was granted access to one of our rooms by merely providing a room number and the surname of one of the persons staying in that room. This oversight raised serious security concerns, as it essentially allowed anyone to access our rooms. In addition to the issues we encountered, there was also a problem with the bedding. One of our colleagues had an allergic reaction to the bedding, which turned out to be made of natural feathers. This was clearly indicated on the labels attached to the bedding. When I approached Mr. Hugo to request synthetic bedding, he initially argued that they did not use natural bedding. However, I was confident in my information as it was plainly written on the labels, and I insisted on the change, which eventually happened. This situation added to our concerns during our stay at the hotel. While the rooms and food were commendable, the attitude and initial reluctance of Mr. Hugo to accommodate our requests, combined with the security lapse, left a negative impression.

IndiaProperty looks a little old, it not very Modern. Breakfast spread was a little less.
Room and the view was really awsome. It is not in the Center of the City but then it is close to everything. Lot of residential area in the surrounding. Lot of restaurants are also close by. Staff were very helpful to book the reservations when we want to go out to some place to eat and also very friendly. There is also a small Children play area park and we can relax and Unwind there as we are living in that place. :)
