The views from the apartment were amazing. Restaurants, supermarkets and beach within walking distance. Our hosts provided invaluable information, maps and suggestions on arrival. They were very helpful throughout our stay. The swimming pool was kept spotlessly clean!

Nothing - loved it!

Lovely little apartment with an amazing view. We were upgraded from a 1 bed to a 2 bed which was lovely. On the ground floor there is a small kitchen (microwave, hob, fridge/freezer, sink), a table, a lounge with 2 sofas and a tv, and a balcony with table and umbrella and seating for 4 - with the most amazing views over Cala Galdana. Upstairs there is a double room with small balcony and that view again, and a twin room with road view, and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. Furnishings/decor is pretty basic but nice enough. As others have said, the decor is not particularly modern, but we liked it. The shower was excellent, so who cares if the tiles are a bit old fashioned? The best thing about the apartments is the view - we just spent all our time on the balcony looking out. And luckily the position of the apartments hides the monstrosity of the Melia hotel! It is a residential area, with a few trees around, which is nice. Small gardens, nice pool, with some shade and again amazing views. They provided towels, which were changed mid week. There is a hair dryer too. We parked on the street outside the apartment every day, but if those spaces are full there are some off street parking spaces too. Host (Oriel) was excellent - we texted to say when we would get there and he met us and checked us in. Lots of great recommendations for walks, restaurants etc. Lovely chap. The apartments are at the top of the hill - 10 minutes from bottom to top, wasnt any bother for us. You can go via stairs or the road - we tended to go via the road and called into the supermarket en route. As others have said, there is evening entertainment noise from the hotel in the harbour and the other one nearby. Sometimes quite loud, but in no way did it stop us from enjoying ourselves or sleeping.

Situated on a little hill, spectacular view over the bay, even better than in the photos. Very nice and helpful owner. The appartament is clean with all you need in the kitchen. Very confy beds. Restaurants and markets nearby. Cala Galdana beach is in walking distance and it is beautiful and perfect for little children. I wish I could stay longer.

Bathroom could use a bit of an update (maybe changing the old tub with a shower) as well as the kitchen area (chairs were a bit unstable, there was no frying pan to do some eggs...).

Wonderfull View over Cala Galdana. The host (Oriol) is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is modest and could use a bit of an update but I believe it is adequate for the price you pay, given it's location. Apartment size was suitable for our family of four (2 adults + 2 children). Everything was really clean and the pool was very good. Close enough to the beach (although it is a steep hill, you can either go through a staircase or wald around through the road).

Everything about this apartment was great. The view form the balcony was fantastic. The pool was cleaned daily plus it’s bigger than I thought it was going to be, the kitchen was well equipped, everything you need. The beach is 10 mins away and supermarkets just down the road. Everything is within walking distance. Great walks to other little beaches. The couple that run/own the place were extremely helpful, our flight was delayed and they made check in really quick and easy, great communication. We don’t normally come back to the same place again but the apartment and the area was perfect, love to come back here again.

the wifi in the apartment was patchy but signal was good at the poolside.

The view from the property was superb, It was great being high as the weather was extremely hot whilst we were there but you got a breeze during the day and night which made it bearable. There was also shade available at the poolside which was fab if you didn't want to go to the beach. The pool was lovely. Good supermarkets and restaurants within very close walking distance. Cala Galdana was a brilliant base to explore the Island or to go out on boat trips to see the stunning covers nearby

Bonavista could benefit from an update as it didn't even have an oven in the kitchen even though one was itemised in the description. It could also use air conditioning, a dishwasher, an extractor fan in the bathroom and better wi-fi. The loud music from the local hotels every night is very annoying, although it was only for a couple of hours and not the fault of Bonavista.

Bonavista is in an excellent location with a fantastic view. It is a spotlessly clean serviced apartment and has plenty of space. The owners were very friendly and helpful, suggesting the better restaurants and also some routes for evening walks. The pool shared with other apartments is great. The free parking is a plus.

Loud music 8.30-10.30pm from nearby hotel complexes. But it's when you're likely to be out for dinner, so not really an issue. And if you like 1970s/1980s tribute bands, could be a plus :)

Superb view across the bay with large balcony. Silent and efficient ceiling fan in bedroom which, combined with the through breeze, was far better than having air con.

Although spotlessly clean on arrival, the apartment is showing signs of age and lacks air-conditioning. Not a problem for us except on a couple of very warm, humid days. I would nevertheless recommend this venue without hesitation.

Excellent property in a superb location, but quite a steep climb back from the beach and town if you haven't got a car. Loved the quiet (after the music at the big hotel ended circa 11.00pm), the view from the apartment, and Galdana itself, which IMHO is the best beach in Menorca by miles.

we were not informed of where to take rubbish nor left with any extra rubbish bags. we would have liked a mid week clean including emptying bins, clean towels and clean bed sheets ideally. Walk back from town and beach is tough as it’s very uphill.

the views were amazing and it was a cool apartment on a hot day. the exterior was pretty, the pool was a good size and although we were expecting a slightly larger balcony from the pictures it was adequate for two. owners were lovely and helpful xx

Our check-in process was great - we had a super delayed flight and our host stayed up to wait for us! We were also upgraded to a larger room because it wasn't being used, free of charge. The view is exceptional, and the location is great for accessing the Cala Galdana beach, as well as Cala Macarelleta/Macarella and Cala Mitjana (30 minute walk through forest).

The top of the stairs needed to be childproof other than that it was great .
