The receptionist.

There is a women at the hotel who is extremely rude. She laughed with excitement when she said that she does not speak English. Told my friend that our room does not exist when she was looking for us. She has no clue what she is doing or how to greet guests. She is a crazy women.

The facilities were very outdated and in need of some maintenance. There was no working restaurant, the sound insulation was terrible as it was possible to hear everything from the adjacent rooms. The floor was super old carpet and it wasn't as clean as expected. The bathtub was super slippery.

It was well located. Central and close to many attractions.

The hotel is very old and in desperate need of renovation. Carpets and curtains were stained, and seriously worn out. The wardrobes and drawers were literally falling apart. There weren´t enough electrical sockets (we had to buy an extension). Terrible mattresses. AC did not work. No card payments accepted. Take cash!

We loved the location, in the very historical center of Salamaca, walking distance to major attractions, shops and restaurants. Public parking was available right next to the hotel. We booked a triple room. We got two bedrooms, which was a lovely surprise. Big bathroom. The person in the reception was very kind and helpful.

Cheap rate so did not expect a lot. Get what you pay for. But beds were uncomfortable, swayed in. Shower curtain in shower was poor quality & let water get everywhere.

During our stay in the first and only night we already encountered 2 problems. 1. In our room we only have 2 plugs located behind the TV stand. We asked the receptionist if we can change to another room, she said all rooms have the same distribution because this is an old building, none refurbishment or renovation was done. But we accepted, we can tolerate 2 nights with this. 2. Not functioning heating. It was 11ºC or even lower that night, I was woken up by the cold in the middle of the night to take the blanket out. However, the bottom line was, in the morning we found out that there was no hot water, while I was in the bathroom with my cloth off, waiting for 9 minutes, and finally I had to take a shower in cold water. Right after that we went to the reception, and we were told, among other guests coming to complain the same problem, that there´s a failure in the heating system that can´t be fixed in 1-2 days, so we can choose to cancel the other night to stay in other hotel or to stay here with discount. After negotiation (1 hour call at least with booking), they offered us, first night 20% discount and 2nd night free cancel with full refund. The reason why im not satisfied with the result are the following: 1. It was not our intention at the first place to choose in another hotel after the first night, the source of the problem comes from the hotel, I offered them that if they can accept 50% off of the whole stay, I can stay for the second night, but they refused. 2. It was because their fault that I had to find another hotel in the same day, which means higher price and I suffer lost. 3. The most unbearable thing is, the result is not what we agreed, the amount should be returned is 63*0.2+63=75.6€, while only 63€ was refunded, they just simply canceled the second night, which shows no respect to the conversation, negotiation we had. 4. My time worth much more than this 12.

The hotel isn’t clean and hasn’t been renovated in years! Torn carpets and drapes, stained towels, hairs in the bed, no water pressure. the worst hotel I have ever been in.

the shower didn’t have a curtain so the water sprayed everywhere if you wanted to take one, and the mini fridge was old and dusty, which I’m pretty sure was where the dusty smell was coming from in the room.

the property had a balcony and was right next to Mayor Plaza, and the staff provided us with cold water when we asked where we could get water from.

AC did not work and the staff knew about it, Wifi only works in the lobby. Rooms had very few power outlets, I had to do a cumbersome connection for my CPAP, no connection near the headboard. The shower had a little trickle of water. I am upset because everything was easily fixable and everything was advertised.
