The breakfast was typical Spanish so we had to make our own arraignments for tea! The location was perfect for us since we were visiting family.

Can’t think of a thing

The location and the beauty of the building itself. loved the natural stone throughout. plenty of free parking nearby. The room was a good size as was the bathroom, the bath was a welcome treat after a long day hiking.

Aircon wasn't super powerful but then we were in the middle of a heat wave! Otherwise all good.

The position was great. Nearby the river and the city centre. Perfect for walks. Not so easy to get there, but not impossible. The room was great, comfortable. The food good quality, though rather expensive. Not really suitable for children, but great for food lovers

Staff super helpful. Fantastic breakfast - Spanish style. Restaurant not open the night we stayed but got a take away and we were able to eat it in the hotel with plates and cutlery from the closed restaurant. Very close to amazing cycle trail which goes 35k along the River Turia into València

Beautiful traditional building with lovely views near the river. Lovely staff, very good restaurant. Pretty lounge area with interesting magazines, space to have coffee and to enjoy the view across the river. Large traditional room with bath. Within an historic part of the town, close to walks.

There is quite a lot of noise from the road - it's not very busy but there is a large manhole cover that bangs as cars drive over it. Fortunately the traffic stopped over night and so our sleep wasn't disturbed.

Very welcoming, the staff really made a big effort to overcome our lack of spanish ! Lovely old building but it didn't lack any modern conviences. Big wood burner in reception , good food we ate in the hotel both nights of our stay..

Great option if you are attending an event at Circuit Ricardo Tormo which is only a 15/20 minute drive away. Hotel is positioned in a quiet area on the edge of the town and free off street parking is available a few hundred yards from the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and room was spotlessly clean.

The room overlooked the river and several mosquito nets were torn, causing the mosquitoes bite at night. There is also a rooster living in the country, which has been very noisy since 4 in the morning :) And also a bed for children .... Although the main bed is very comfortable and big, but the sofa for children was very hard and uncomfortable.

it's a nice small town and the hotel is near the entrance into oldtown. It has a perfect restaurant (thus quite expensive). The room was big and the bathroom was huge :) You can find everything you need in the room.

Hotel Muralleta turned out to be the perfect place to stay for a 4 day visit to the beautiful city of Valencia. The Metro was a 10 minute walk from the hotel and runs into the city every 30 minutes taking 35 minutes to get into the centre. The hotel is of a very high standard and our room had a lovely view over the river and surrounding countryside. Everywhere was very clean and the owners were very helpful with good information about the area and Valencia itself. We opted for breakfast every morning which was of a very good quality and gave us a great start to the day. The staff were very pleasant and made our stay a memorable one. Thanks to Lydia and all the staff as we will definitely be returning in the near future.
