How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The apartment was really nice, loads of space for 4 people .... excellent location for a break in winter, might be more noisy in summer ....

Our flat didnt have a washing machine, some of the flats have different specs.
Beds were comfortable, good selection of UK channels, air con woks well, great value for money, great location, friendly staff.

seats on balcony could have been better also put handles on door leading to balcony so you can open them , a little beter lighting near bed so you can turn lights on /off
property ideal location in central benidorm where all the action is dont stop here if you want a quiet break and early night ,staff cant do enough for you very helpful ,beach 5 mins walk .

Very rare that the staff were on reception until the last day Pool closed for 2 out of 3 day stay
Excellent location next to the main bars and strip. Air conditioning and fans in the bedrooms. Good price.

Loved the property and it lived up to its name if “My pretty Payma Apartments” A couple of minor maintenance issues could be addressed to improve the experience.
The location is fantastic if you want to be near the beach and close to plenty of entertainment venues .

no air con in the bedrooms which was unbearable at night time but apart from that it was perfect
the location is fantastic and central to everything. also only a short walk to the beach! clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly.

The ceiling in one room needed repair (aesthetic). Communal area floors get very slippery when wet.

The place is very dated and the apartment has some issues—deferred maintenance. The beds were uncomfortable (especially the sofa bed). There are bars/clubs all around. The one immediately below the apartment has loud music in the afternoon and all night.
Very helpful and friendly staff staff at reception desk. Location was good. The apartment was functional and had a decent view.

Corina was a great host and quickly sorted out any issue I had. For example I had no hot water and let her know. Within minutes someone came to fix the problem. Great service.

can be loud at night due to location near bars and clubs, but wasn’t a problem for us.
apartment was comfortable and clean, with all the facilities that you need. The guy on reception could not have been more helpful if he tried, and extended check out for us. Pool was nice and clean and quiet most of the time. Good location for the clubs etc.

There was nothing that we didn’t like we loved it. All I can say is if you want a quieter location then this is not for you due to it being a very noisy area.
Location was right in the heart of the new town so a lot of entertainment around and only a very short walk to the beach J&J’s cafe literally around the corner..it’s a must to visit them, their breakfast is amazing Our apartment was brilliant we had a sea view and the apartment itself was very modern and spacious with a good size balcony. The shower room was lovely with a great size walk In shower. We had a really comfortable double size bed which was great and we were given the option of double or 2 single beds. Overall everything we experienced was top marks Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

A couple of very minor problems, tv not connected and handset not working - quickly resolved.
My partner and I had had the pleasure of staying just one night previously. On the basis of this, we were so well delighted we resolved immediately to return in the future. This, we did, and in fact, asked if arrangements could be made for to stay for extra days, (3 additional-total 5) We loved the appartments, clean and welcpming in every way. We certainly look forwaed to our return

Very small space but ok for a few days. The biggest issue is the noise from the bars below..... intolerable unless this is what you come for. If you want to party, great. If you want some peace and quiet look elsewhere.
Pretty (!) well equipped. Location if you want to be in the middle of it. Felt secure and the staff were great. Corina was very helpful indeed.
