How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The only problem we had was that the water temperature in the shower was very variable. So much so that I almost got scalded.
The room was fine and we loved that we could park in the hotel car park. It is walk-able to the old part of the city and takes about 25 mins. The hotel has a pool which is in a pleasant garden. Still a bit cold at the beginning of May but nice and refreshing after a hot day in the old town. The hotel has a restaurant and it also serves a very good breakfast. There is a cafe at lunchtime which stays open until 4.15pm

Nothing of note.
Easy free parking 20 minute walk to centre of Cordoba. Comfortable rooms & good breakfast.

Noisy some times.
Breakfast very good. Apartments very clean. Parking was free. Easy access to highways if you're travelling by car.

The breakfast was just about average, no scrambled egg and the bacon was not exactly appetising. We were expected to drink out of glasses that weren't clean. We had an evening meal which was less than average. Our room was not cleaned to an accepable standard. We found hair in the sheet and douvet. Some corners in the room were dusty and filled with dust balls which were there during our entire stay.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The Hotel is on the main road with easy access. It has a car park. Staff were polite and friendly. Room is basic. The Hotel is 10 min walk to the Old city. I have to thank Raul for removing his own car and let my friend has his space. He was Super polite and professional.

Room not sound proof as can hear next door people coughing & snoring. Low water pressure & water does not heat enough.

Nice enough room but a bit Spartan on the furnishing - there was a big space at one end that could have accommodated a nice sofa or chairs to make it a bit homely. The floor was a bit gritty when we arrived but cleaned nicely on day 2

Hotel sited at end of a previously developed strip which presently is undergoing change. Room safe could be lifted easily.
It was great value for money. Clean , comfortable and friendly. Food was good. Easy walking distance of main Cordoba attractions for us, might be a minus if not walkers.

Really nothing to mention!
Nice room, good size. Breakfast excellent. Hotel parking perfect. Very cordial welcome. All staff members very friendly and courteous. Location super, just a few driving minutes away from a huge free parking quite close to the Roman bridge.

The room was very hot.

The breakfast was a bit pricey but this was a minor point.
The location was perfect being close to the motorway and within walking distance of the old town. The room was extremely good value - it was comfortable and clean. Having a cafe on the premises was a bonus.

Walls were a bit thin, we could hear everything the room next door were saying. And I guess they could hear us too???

The walk into town is a little over a mile. I didn’t mind the walk. Tad sketch at night

It’s clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast. Location is a cab ride from the main attractions but I was here because my wife had an unscheduled hospital stay and it’s close by. The staff were very understanding and helpful

The only thing I would change would be a shower curtain for a glass shower and the hot water suddenly became cold on occasion.
Staff pleasant. Breakfast excellent. Parking free and within walking distance of historic Cordoba. Pool and restaurant although no time to use.
