There seemed to be a lot of motion detector sensors in the room. Not sure why or what the purpose was. Lights did not turn on or off if we moved around if that is what the sensors were for. Lack of bidet.

Lovely hotel and great location. Close to restaurants, cafes, shops etc. Antonio checked us in, and he was friendly. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed and pillows (two to choose from) with a Nespresso coffee machine and separate kettle. Water bottles, coffee pods, and tea bags were replenished throughout our stay. The hotel is in a pedestrian area, so we parked in an underground parking garage just opposite the hotel. No agreement between hotel and garage, so it was a little expensive. The garage elevator brought us right up to the street with our luggage, so that was very convenient. The bathroom was light and spacious. Loved the taps and shower. It came with a Dyson hairdryer. Breakfast was very good. Antonio and Carmen made us some great scrambled eggs. Beautiful boutique hotel! We will be back!

For 15 euros, the buffet breakfast was under par: for example - no expresso coffee; no choice of bread; no poached eggs. Dining room is fine.

There is nothing not to like.

This was my fifth visit to this hotel, over eight years, and in that time it hasn't lost a single ounce of its charm and cleanliness. Superbly appointed, beautifully finished with the highest quality fixtures and fittings. Each time I return it feels as if it has been packed quietly away, unused, and reserved for my return. The staff are of the most professional I've ever encounted. Everything has always worked, nothing has ever been broken or misplaced. Anything less than a 10 rating would be an insult.

Located in a pedestrian zone so arriving by car and unloading luggage was tricky. You have to park in a nearby municipal lot.

Excellent room in a lovely old building. Very friendly and helpful at reception. The street on which the hotel is located is pedestrianised so it is quiet at night. If coming by car, you enter the underground car park as you exit the roundabout at the beginning of the street.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like as such but the sink in the bathroom was a bit odd. The drains were a little smelly. It would be even better if the inner courtyard patio was accessible and we are always a little uncomfortable when there isn’t a 24 hour reception so staff aren’t always on site (however we did feel safe there once we settled in). Also we were expecting a patio whereas we had a French style balcony window so nowhere to sit outside. however they are only little niggles compared to the positives of our stay. We travel by train from Oviedo and it was only a short walk from the station.

We loved Leon and this hotel. The room was very comfortable, we loved the bathroom which was large, an excellent shower and we were amazed that we had a Dyson hairdryer. Breakfast is really good with the option of omelette or scrambled egg alongside a continental breakfast. The lady who is there at breakfast to ensure you have what you need is lovely and she was also on Reception when we checked out. We felt very relaxed whilst staying there and the hotel is really well located and quiet
