The conversion of this beautiful building has been completed with great care. No expense has been spared to create a wonderful space in which to relax. Our room, Tempranillo, was perfectly laid out, with a small lobby offering storage for bags. Off to the side, before the bedroom, a very well laid out bathroom; two sinks with storage under. Through into the dressing area with plenty of hanging space, proper coat hangers and drawers under. Completing this area, a counter with tea / coffee making facilities, fridge and safe. The bedroom was a lovely space, muted colours and furniture. The attention to detail is outstanding, with art works through the building. In the lounge area, there is a beautiful collection of Murano glass, shown in display cabinets built through the wall to the restaurant, which also houses a wonderful collection of wine. Staff are friendly and engaging. Maximiliano was very helpful and in the restaurant, Miren and her team offered help with the selection of wines and menu choices. Parking is either at the side of the hotel on the street ( perfectly safe) or in a small enclosed courtyard across the road. All in all, a wonderful hotel.

The relaxed atmosphere from check-in to departure. The breakfast was out of this world - exceptional choice of food and we could have stayed for as long as we wished. Dinner again was superb. We both ordered steak - (mine rare and my wife’s medium rare) and the steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Excellent.

Exceptional service from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The whole property is like a serene oasis. Walkable to a few wineries and tasting rooms nearby. The restaurant was outstanding in terms of quality and service with a great wine list. Our room Verdejo was stylish but completely comfortable overlooking the garden and the front of the property. The garden area was large and also well furnished. We only stayed one night this time but will definitely do at least 2 next time.

This isn't a dislike but a personal comment. We were first booked into a room on the top floor. Although it was perfectly fine it had skylights rather than wall windows. We decided to upgrade into a jr. suite that was well worth the extra money in our opinion. It is such beautiful property that a room where you really feel luxurious was wonderful

WE absolutely loved this hotel. First off, the renovation and decor was top notch. We are designers and could not find anything to criticize. The stafff was super friendly and accessible. all the meals we had were excellent. We loved the added amenity of the electric bikes and we had a wonderful ride through the vineyards as directed by the staff. We will definitely be back

Nothing to say… but If I may leave a suggestion, a daily complementary water in the rooms would be nice.

The hotel was one of a kind find. The rooms are wonderful, the staff attention is really good, the food at the restaurant is delicious and the wine offering is impressive.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

This is a boutique Hotel only like 9 suites and they are amazing! The staff was wonderful and so many things to do around the Rioja area, we also visited LA Guardia which is the beautiful medieval town which so much history. One of the most beautiful place we have visited. The hotel is decorated with so much style and a beautiful Murano collection.

Such an amazing unexpected experience in a tiny town. An absolutely beautiful property with next level service. The rooms felt like you walked in architectural digest. Everything from the linens to the bathroom to the perfect huge soaking tub to listen to the church bells. Can’t wait to be back!

the swimming pool was a bit cold but needed when we were there as 38oC so very refreshing but could be uncomfortable in cooler climates

this establishment is top quality. professional yet extremely friendly staff, gorgeous rooms that are decorated beautifully, delicious food from a fantastic chef; breakfast was amazing too. absolutely loved it!!
