Service often very slow at breakfast. No milk out out for breakfast cereals. Area immediately around hotel very cheap and cheerful, with shops and cafes and restaurants somewhat obscuring the attractive buildings and very crowded.

I thought the restaurant was poor. Very expensive and issues with having many items on the menu were not available. Five of the first seven items ordered from the menu were not available.

Restaurant and bar were very busy so service was quite slow for dinner and pre-dinner drinks in the evening.

For a hotel of this quality, double bedrooms should be large enough to have two chairs so that you can relax in the room should you wish. The restaurant was good value although the service can be improved through better coordination.

Only one thing - I didn't particularly like having a metal grille over the windows in our room. Some rooms didn't have this.

Everything about the hotel looked brand-new, such was the terrrific standard of cleanliness. The staff were exceptionally helpful, well-informed, and multi-lingual. The hotel's location was in the middle of the old part of the city - lively and interesting; having said that, the hotel rooms were very quiet and peaceful.

We treated ourself to dinner in the restaurant and were delighted with the food, wine and service. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. Our room was very comfortable with a king bed, and a thoughfully appointed room. Location is superb, walking distance to the beach and many attractions. Because we were in a pedestrian area, there wasn't much noise.

Location, location, location - what more can one say. Very close to all the places you would want to visit. As we were in our own cr, the car park was very convenient.

Each staff member was friendly , pleasant and helpful, The location is great - right in the middle of sights and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the shower good. The room tenp held exactly as set and you have control of it. The heater air conditioning is soundless. Great stay.

The terrace was only open for breakfast. I’m told it would open longer in a few weeks time. I was surprised that there were no instructions on how to use the room safe. Also surprised that there were no shower caps provided in the bathroom.

The character of the hotel was maintained even though recently renovated. Beautiful dining room. We stayed in the annexe which was lovely.

Disappointed not to have a room in the old part of the hotel although the room in the modern annex was excellent.

Breakfast excellent - combination of buffet and cooked breakfast served at the table. Staff friendly and helpful. Room immaculately clean - serviced thoruoghly every day. Fresh complimentary bottle of water provided in room each day.

There’s not much of an outlook and the rooms were quite dark - but it’s in the centre of the old town amidst alleys and buildings so not much you can do about that!

Didn't have breakfast as it was very expensive. Room was on the narrow alleyway in an annexe building of the hotel, so not much natural light. Would have liked more space in the room - as a small luxury hotel, I was expecting a couple of feet more extra room around the bed.

Great position in centre of town. Great staff. Wonderful pillows. Amazing magarita from the bar.

The hotel is perfectly located for exploring old Malaga and the harbour area. Lovely conversion of a lovely building, Our attic bedroom was superb.

The keys to the room and the lift kept deactivating and that was numerous times , was frustrating to say the least as I had to go and down to second floor -inconvenient
