We really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was very relaxing, the staff were cheerful and welcoming The location near the beach and the harbour was great, and the gardens were wonderful. We didnt use the pool, but looked very tempting.

ItalyRooms are indeed very large, a lot of space, also the bathroom is well above average in terms of dimensions. Beds are comfortable and wifi is efficient. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool in the garden. Recommended both for holidays or a business stay.

United KingdomThe biggest problem was that it was called a “Parador”. This gave us the expectation of something grand. In fact it was a very simple 3* hotel. Booking.com description was 4* but it wasn’t- even its own entrance had 3*s. It didn’t even have tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
It was a great place to have a few days rest after a busy week touring. The location was good for restaurants, bars and the beach. The grounds were spacious with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas for shade. The room was spacious with a good bathroom and terrace.

United KingdomThat the evening meal was served from 8.30. It is too late for Northern Europeans. I think that the lovely restaurant would do more business if it served from 7. Also there was a lack of information about meal times and other aspects of the hotel. When you have had a long journey you just want basic information. You don't want to log on to your WiFi. We were given no information whatsoever on check-in, except for the room number. The reception staff seemed always to be involved with other matters and made little effort to communicate with us. On the other hand, the cleaning staff were warm and friendly and one of those ladies in particular spoke very good English and was happy to do so. She should be on reception. There was a also a lady in the restaurant at breakfast time who spoke to us in English but she seemed very overstretched. I would like to point out that we try to speak Spanish where possible and that other Northern Europeans such as the Danes, Belgians and Dutch find it easier to be understood in English than in their own language. Over all this was a very good experience which could be excellent if communication were to be improved.

CanadaThe room was musty smelling at times. If the patio door was open, or the air conditioner turned on, the musty smell wasn't as bad. Sometimes we had to wait for service in the dining room because staff was busy. Perhaps a little short staffed because the staff was really running.
The room was a little dated but very clean, quiet and comfortable. It was so nice having a balcony off our room with a view of a park and the ocean. The meals were very good and food came quickly once it was ordered. Staff was helpful and friendly and spoke English.

Netherlandsthe swimming pool is closed on weekdays. This is not mentioned on booking.com. You ask and receive pool towels, to find the pool closed. In all other paradores (like Mazagon) the pool is open. perhaps a Local law that enforces pool supervision?

FranceIt was a shame that the pool wasn't open until 11.00 so no chance to take an early morning dip.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a good view and a spacious terrace. The hotel is just a few yards from the beach and in easy reach of the town centre though we found little to do there. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was professional with great service and a convincingly Spanish menu.
