    Bed was hard.

Good room with lovely view. Had breakfast one day which was a buffet and good. Parking was a plus. Couldn’t ask for a better location.

The parking situation is very challenging, especially for a car larger than sub-compact.

Stunning setting above the river gorge with view that is simply spectacular. Old world charm combined with inspirational natural beauty. Hotel staff is exceptional at serving the needs of guests: reception, dining room and housekeepers were all first class.

An enjoyable stay in a lovely quiet parador which is exceptionally well positioned to the old town.

The food, both breakfast and main meal in the restaurant, was okay but nothing special.

Location and room were great. Staff were helpful and polite. Parking on the street was available and free. Access to the old town was easy, just a walk across the bridge. The town itself unexpectedly very interesting and well worth a visit.

The only breakfast option in the hotel before 11 am is the breakfast buffet which is around 23 Euro. I didn't find much on the buffet that I cared for, the servers didn't ask us if we wanted the ala carte items or offer more coffee. We had to keep flagging them down repeatedly.

The Parador de Cuenca is in a wonderful location, with views of the Hanging Houses and a quick walk across the bridge to the Old City. The rooms are good sized and the beds comfortable. The bathroom had everything we needed. Our safe wasn't working and the maintenance staff showed up within 15 minutes to fix it. Be sure to eat in the restaurant - food was delicious.

A queen bed as opposed to two single beds pushed together would have been preferable.

A beautiful parador in a unique setting. Had an exceptional view of the hanging houses from our bedroom window. Friendly staff and service. Loved all the guest facilities, especially the dining room.

Breakfast service could have been better. We had to flag down a waiter to order our hot food and when it came it wasn’t very hot at all. It’s just a niggle but everything else (building room and view) was amazing

We had an early departure and missed out on the breakfast which started at 8 am. We did get a picnic breakfast of cold sandwiches and fruit, but it was not worth the value we paid for a full breakfast. There was no refund option offered for meals that we could not have based on the restrictive travel connections. Also, we had an early departure at 0700 and asked for a wake up call at 0630. Unfortunately, the receptionists got locked outside of the building because the electric sensor on the door did not work. When I went downstairs, I was able to open the door from the inside and let them in. This is not only a safety concern for the workers who were locked outside, but also for the guests who have no staff support from the front desk if needed.

It was an excellent location in the center of town so walking through Cuenca was convenient
