Nice hotel very quiet - a 25 minute walk to town centre. But a pleasant walk.

Conveniently situated off the main motorway. Historic building.

The location wasn’t great - on a main road and just past some industrial buildings. Not easy to walk into the town of Tordesillia.

The room was very comfortable and you could park right outside the property. The swimming pool was lovely and very large. The hotel is set amongst pine trees in a lovely forest but on a busy road. Tordesillia is a lovely untouristy town, situated on the River Douro, with a very nice medieval square with good restaurants. It is quite easy to park. The parador is very good for a stop over on the way to the ferry.

Unfortunately the pool was surrounded by little wasps/bees, it didn't stop us using it but it wasn't great. I don't know how they would be able to deter these insects so it's not the hotels fault.

The Parador is located in beautiful grounds and has a traditional feel about the place. The pool is huge and the dinner we had was excellent.

The toilet in my room took over 30 minutes to refill after flushing.

Beautiful hotel in a pinewood forest where we admired a wonderful sunrise. So pretty, quiet and peaceful. Nice staff, and delicious breakfast . Also a very good bartender who made us lovely bloodymary. Definitely recommend

The mattress on the bed was uncomfortable and in need of replacement, that is the only criticism.

We enjoyed the character of the buildings and the pool, the outside terrace for lunch and dinner under the shade of large cedar trees were also enjoyable. Breakfast offering was amazing and the evening meal offer was great value.

The breakfast was pricey at 18€ each. No price list for the mini-bar in the room.

We stayed overnight en route to Santander. It's located slightly out of town but only a 15/20 minute walk. Tordesillas is an interesting town with a beautiful plaza surrounded by restaurants/cafes The parador is a lovely building with character and charm. The rooms were large, comfortable and relaxing to be in. Guests have access to two swimming pools plus other outdoor areas to enjoy. We'd definitely stay again.

The size of the bed... too small for a tall couple. Would have loved to have a larger bed.

Outdoor Pool- Great facility and sun beds around. However, arriving in 40degs heat-it was sadly not used for more than a quick dip in, as the whole of the outside edge was covered in dead insects. Really disappointed that they weren’t dealt with. Could be a great facility if sorted out .

Indoor pool good. Staff friendly and helpful. Room good Bar/food in bar food. Ample for breakfast. Not a cheap stay but have used a couple of times now. Good stop over when driving from Santander to Souther Spain..

It is inexplicable that a four star hotel does not have a coffee machine or a water heater in the room. C’mon, for 150 euros a night. We just wanted a coffee, I do not need to pay 18 euros/pp for a breakfast with industrial pastries and concentrate orange juice (that is not orange juice!)

Free upgrade to a superior room! Excellently decorated. Great bed. Easy to get to, but not much within walking distance.

As it is located on a larger road, there is no comfortable way to walk into town.

if you wanted to visit the town it was a little far away would need a taxi or car?

it’s a parador and till this date they are all of a good standard
