Breakfast was OK but not up to the standard of some other Paradores.

Excellent location with plenty of parking and nice views, very comfortable room.

The devil is in the details which seem to escape the daily service staff: Hair Dryer broken, Jacuzzi tub controls broken, vanity light bulb out, table lamps cannot be turned off except from master switch. Limited staff fluency in English for a property hosting groups from UK and US.

Parador is a beautiful, modern, upscale property with spectacular views and spacious rooms.

    Slow service

The waiter, David, in the restaurant was excellent. He was very attentive and the food and wine recommendations were superb. We loved the room too and look forward to going back in warmer weather just for a break.

As a traveller from UK, would like to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room ,as the cafe/bar didn't open early for hot drinks in a morning.

Clse to the centre of Antequera. Exceptional service and cleaned each day.

Unfortunate that the swimming pool wasn't open during our stay.

Large and comfortable room. Fresh bottled water provided every day. Good choice at breakfast with some options to have food cooked to order. Nice bar area and reasonably priced drinks. Only tried the restaurant once but was very happy with the quality of food and the service. Excellent location, just up the hill from the main area of the city with plenty of restaurants and bars. Large car park.

Staff at reception a bit slow and not very proactive

Breakfast was good although coffee machine completely inadequate for a hotel. It’s a small domestic one. Need a hotel sized industrial one. Staff spent all their time trying to fix it! Dinner was nice although we were unable to get a window seat although as it was dark views were limited. Daytime views over countryside very good. Walkable into town which is good but with adequate parking on site. Very comfortable bed.

TV was too low and couldn’t be seen easily when lying in bed. The bed was a little firm for my liking.

Updated to a junior suite which was very spacious and the spa bath was amazing.

Dinner hours in restaurant. 20h30 is rather late, particularly for travellers who've done a long day's drive, or for foreigners (of whom there are many in Spain, with the number constantly increasing) more used to eating at 19h or so. Also, there are no real entertainment facilities at the hotel, such as an indoor pool (in winter) or fitness centre, to occupy people while they wait for dinner. Similarly, the bar/cafe should have been open for breakfast. I understand this is largely a question of staff costs, but you might consider the PR aspect as well. Also, information about the property or the surroundings was VERY hard to access. One had not just to turn on the TV but then to open a QR code to find the basic info, such as eating hours. I actually resorted to phoning the front desk to save time! At least that worked. Location: a bit far from the centre of town.

Lovely room. The fact that they charged 18€ for a buffet breakfast but allowed people to order just a coffee, for 5€. Very considerate! Very friendly front desk staff.

There are no fans in the room, (except the heater), which made it very humid. In the mornings, the windows would be very wet, with water running down the walls when we’d wake up. We had to open the windows to dry out the room. There is an arm chair, but it is worn out and uncomfortable. The Restaurant is open from 20:30 to 23:30, (which seems a bit late, even by Spanish standards) and we didnt care for the food in the cafeteria. Since the hotel is on a hill, towards the edge of town, it can be a long walk to find a restaurant close by.

The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious with large windows. There is lots of free parking, if you get a rental car. The mini fridge was nice, but it would have been nice to have a coffee maker.

Hotel felt cold in some of the communal areas. Would have been good to have been provided with a kettle (we English like to be able to make our own cups of tea and coffee in the room!). Bedroom furniture was getting somewhat bashed and the wardrobe was very noisy to open and close. Breakfast (which we paid for once on a one-off basis) seemed poor value for money.

Hotel had a very modern, light airy feel to it. Bedroom was good. Nice view across to the countryside beyond the hotel. Very comfortable and clean beds. Great to have a bidet in the bathroom. Location was pretty good being a shortish walk into the town. Staff generally helpful and friendly. They enabled me to speak Spanish without speaking in English!
