We would have liked to have a safe in the room for our passports. The a/c unit did not seem to work and there were no instructions for it.

We loved the location. We loved the style of the suite. It was spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful. The suite was a generous size and the shower was lovely.

Wifi and A/C wasn’t working on day of arrival in our room and when mentioned to front desk staff, we were assured that both are working. Our bedroom was on the third floor and the WiFi was working in the reception are but not on the third floor The manager had a staff member fix the WiFi and the next day A/C was working too.

Nothing major to complain about a few things were not ideal: - reception/ front desk only open for a few hours each day, which is generally not a big problem except that the front door to the street (accessible via code) malfunctioned and didn't open anymore, so we had to call the Patriarca team a few times to have the door opened - probably makes me reconsider whether I'm chosing accomodation without 24-hour reception again in the future (the issue wasn't fixed throughout the 3 nights we stayed there but it was probably taken care of at some point) - rooms are quite small and the bathroom is only divided with a sliding door, so privacy was a bit lacking - the walls in the building are really thin and it was a bit noisy sometimes

The hotel has no elevator so unless you are prepared to walk up to the top floor (4th) either demand a lower floor or choose somewhere else. I was in room 108 (room with balcony over entrance to Cafe Bombay on the ground floor) so had no issue even though I am no longer as fleet of foot as I used to be. The room had an odd almost triangular shape and was small in fact smaller than I think it looks in photos. The bathroom was therefore also quit small. If you need a proper work station you should pick another room type or a different hotel. Also, the bed I had was lumpy and not super comfortable but okay.

Cleanliness, which must be top priority for any hotel, was in-order here. The room was starting to show signs of ware but not bad and everything worked. My opinion is very much affected by the price I paid. For two nights the cost was € 162. I think that is quite reasonable for a room, albeit a single room but with a balcony as mentioned and a nice street view, in the center of a major city in Europe. You are just 500 meters from what was the ancient center of Valencia and some of the city's most significant tourist attractions. The hotel is in an old beautiful building nicely restored in a very nice neighborhood close to both larger streets and shopping and smaller narrow steers with a lot of old world charm. Taken all together I think this hotel is better than average or one might say good.

The room is quite basic but all you need if you’re planning to spend most of your time outside the room.

Excellent location and really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is 5mins walk to the large, main square and an easy walk around town. Really idyllic location next to a beautiful square.

The bathroom was not good! Tiny shower cabin that is uncomfortable even for someone petite. The water pressure was non existent and the handheld shower head was broken and couldn't be positioned high enough to take a normal shower.

The location was amazing! Very close to everything that we wanted to visit. We really liked that the building is old and it's refurbished very well with high ceilings and exposed bricks in the rooms.

On the photos the rooms looked bigger, so we thought the hotel was quite expensive for such a small space. There was only space for a bed, a small bathroom and a clothing rack.

There was no chair in the room! You could sit only to the bed. In the bathroom there was only small one shelf, you couldn’t put anything to it. Anyway the room wqs well-equiped.

The drawback to the location being great was that, as I was there during the fallas celebration, the Valencians were out drinking in the streets until 4am which made it hard to sleep. Maybe I should have joined them! In addition, the person working at reception did not seem to know much about Valencia itself.

The location is amazing and the room was small but had everything I needed. I also loved having a little balcony and some outside space. It's worth mentioning that the cleaner did a fantastic job and left the room spotless every day.

Would be good to have a chair in the room, however, it was probably too small to accommodate one. A/C was not working but thankfully we didn't need it. Would need it for a warmer time of the year as the room is small.

Location was excellent. Room was very clean. Host was quick to respond to messages. Room did have facilities as listed but was quite small. Good to be able to leave our bags on the last day.
