How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Door was a bit ill-fitting so scraped loudly when being opened or closed but more of a problem for occupants of adjoining rooms than for me personally. Pension is on the Ruzafa which is a busy artery through that part of town so expect a bit of traffic noise up until midnight and from daybreak onwards.
Easy check-in, 24hr concierge, fridge, balcony, air-con, lift to upper floors, vending machines. Good location with little bars, shops, cafes and restaurants within metres of the front door and beach is only 10 mins walk away. Place was spotless with plenty of clean towels and beds were clean and comfortable. Cleaner called every day and made up the room if required (wee reversible room door hanger for "Do Not Disturb/Please Make Up My Room" supplied).

There wasn't any problems with hotel all fine 👍
Breakfast was not available for the hotel. As for the hotel it was fine friendly staff had no issues.

Nothing much to comment on, there was drilling going on at 8am in the morning but that can’t be helped, just maybe close your doors to drown out the noise and use air con!
Rooms are big, close by to everything and staff were friendly. Also very clean and rooms are done each day.

A couple of noisy neighbours...but you can't plan for that!
It was in a great location to walk around benidorm. The pension was clean and comfortable and with staff on 24 hours, there was always someone to help if you needed anything Great value for money too.

Nothing I didn’t like
Basic accommodation, but very clean. No kettle in the room but reception loaned me one for free. Fridge and air con in the room was a blessing.

Our room was facing onto a very busy row of backstreets that were very noisy

My room was on the back and there was building work going on at a property below me. Noisy am and pm. Not the hotel fault but still disturbing.
Stayed a few times.very clean .ideal location and staff very friendly and helpful. Would go back again.

For the very good rates, nothing to change or dislike was very good value for money.
Excellent location, room standard but extremely clean & equipped with all basic necessities required as a "room" only basis. Staff very helpful & pleasant & helped with any requirements. Felt very safe & enjoyed a very happy stay & would 100% recommend.

Perfect location; Playa de Levante and the old town within a 5 minute walk and Mal Pas, Playa de Poniente and the Balcon del Meditteraneo within 10. There are also several supermarkets and a bank/ATM on the street outside. The hotel is also very clean, providing fresh towels/bedding daily. Each room has a mini fridge and a small freeview TV and a small body wash and bar soap was provided per guest, with a kettle available on request if you need one. Staff are friendly and helpful. Amazing value for money!

No meal facilities in hotel and no tea/coffee facilities in room.

A couple of small luxuries would have been appreciated such as a hairdryer and the ability to make a free hot drink in the room. I also thought making a daily additional charge for using the in room safe a little excessive
