Unisex toilets/bathroom. Could be cleaner and separated with male and female. Not nice to have urinals in toilets as smelly.

Basic accommodation but nice and clean and centrally located

There was no door to the bathroom and almost impossible to get dressed after showering without full access to anyone passing in the hallway. We also needed space to dry our soaking wet clothes and shoes.

Only 4 beds in the room and the most amazing view to the cathedral! Staff were super friendly and flexible. Beds were very good.

The heater in the room supposedly works on a timer however I never felt it going on.

This property is centrally located close to the cathedral. Comfortable beds with well stocked coffee machine in the room.

I can understand not having a kitchen, but will be happy to have a fridge for things like ham, milk, cheese, yogurt, cold drinks.

Friendly efficient reception staff. Having coffee/tea and kettle in the room.

The room was very cold and the heater turned on in short intervals. Blankets were provided but it was uncomfortably cold.

Great location with beautiful views! The room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities. We particularly liked having a sink in the room and thought the tea was a lovely touch!

My bed was squeaking badly and I did not sleep well. Also was worrying about others because of this squeak.

Team is amazing, very helpful, location is great. Water and tea in the room, clean. Rooms for 4 persons are very nice, with curtains and sockets.

If I really have to pick on a thing I wasn't that fond of is the bathroom setup. It's a little bit tight for comfort . Though the building is old and rooms are small so there is really not much to be done about that . However the showers them selfs are nice and there kept clean.

Great hostel. The location to access most of Santiago Compostela cathedral and old town is perfect. The hosts have been delightful and always happy to help. The place is kept clean and tidy. Would happily recommend to anyone on a budget or has just completed the Camino.

Great customer service. Four beds so semi private. In the middle of the square. Close to everything but noise died down at a de TM hour.

The baths could be renovated but still offer everything you need.

I really enjoyed my stay in Pension Santa Cruz! <3 The rooms are lovely, super comfortable, clean, cozy and even pretty! So nice to see that someone has a feeling for good fabrics, nice colors and decorations here. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I felt at home. And the location (even though a bit noisy at times) is phenomenal. Stepping out of the door you’re already surrounded by nice Bars, Cafés, Shops and just a few steps away from the cathedral itself.

The bathrooms could use some renovation.

The place is perfectly positioned, in the heart of the city! There are restaurants, a grocery store and the cathedral in 1 min away (literally in the corner of the street). It was clean and comfortable.

Our room, when the window was open had a restaurant below it, so it was very noisy and when the widows were closed, the room was very hot. No air circulation. The one person in our room had bad body odor that it made the room smelly. The bathroom was pretty good except when others didn't clean after themselves and kept the bathroom clean for others. The floor of the bathroom could get really wet and the one day, the bathroom smelled of urine, not sure if it's from the men not flushing the urinal or used the toilet to pee in but didn't lift the toilet seat, splattered on the back of the toilet seat or both. It's gross.

The location was great, very central. Like having the sink in the room and the fact that there were only 4 to a room.

The shower/ toilet situation. They are restricted with space I guess but there are only two toilets and two showers. Most people seemed to be able to work around it but it could cause difficulties for some. They are also very small but I’ve been in worse.

Location, great. Santiago life on the doorstep, close to restaurants, Cathedral, supermarket, bus to the airport. Easy check in , I got there in the afternoon, welcomed in, shown everything and told everything I needed to know. Young man and woman owners both very helpful. I expected bunk beds but very happy to have my own bed in a room of three. Provide lockers with a key that you can even use after check out. Sofa on landing with access to charging points, also useful after check out. Noise from street lessened greatly by metal window shutters. Loved the quirky deco and relaxed atmosphere. A great ending to my Camino Del Norte.

The location Linda did self to loud music, party, celebrations, and noise at night. He had to close the window and you can still hear the party outside. However, I was part of that party, a few nights myself.

Location was good and the location could be considered bad. I wanted to be by the cathedral and it was a perfect location. The lady who owns or runs the accommodation is excellent. She will do everything in her power to help you out. She will look for football jerseys, give you the bus schedule, laundry, mat services, and anything you asked for. She has a credit to her profession.
