Room size, cleanliness, value for money. There was an extremely strong scent of lemon (cleaning chemicals), which made it almost unbearable to stay inside.

They didn’t replace the cups. The cups are dirty. We booked for four peoples, they just provided 2uncleaned cups. We self drove the Bilbao, the parking is 7 minutes walk. We arrived in a raining day, it made walking with luggages difficult.

Location is close to old town, walkable to many tourist sites.

In general it feels like a very cheap place in terms of quality Neither my room, no common areas were clean at my stay. I was staying in the room right opposite to the kitchen, I would highly NOT recommend this one, as you get all the kitchen smells. Some of the quests were warming up their food in the micro-wave; I have no idea what they had there, but the smell was totally disgusting and made me nauseatic; it stayed there all night long. Fridge is dirty, kettle is broken so that you can easily get injured. It is not worth its price.

The walls are a little thin so if your neighbours are a bit loud you can hear it, but not a massive issue at all.

Amazing location in the heart of the old town, very lively neighbourhood with a lot of restaurants and shops. Super clean, was not expecting daily cleaning and towel/bedding changes. Amazing value for money, would highly recommend.

The access to the pension should have been straightforward, but it wasn't. Having fulfilled the request to check in online in advance, we awaited the email giving us the pin number to enter the building, which we were waiting to receive on the day of our booking. But all we received were more automated emails from Booking.com saying that we would receive the pin code on the day of arrival. We arrived at the pension still with no pin code and tried to ring the contact numbers on the booking details, but for whatever reason our mobile phones could not reach the numbers. Fortunately a very helpful man arrived to give us access. A few minutes later we received the pin code via WhatsApp, not via email. Shortly afterwards we received another copy of the automated email from Booking.com saying we would be receiving a pin code on the day of arrival, and then we received this email yet again after we had checked out the next day!

Great location with lots of nightlife nearby. A good place e for our one night in Bilbao. All done remotely, so it was a little impersonal. We didn't see any staff but they were very efficient when we needed help.

The communication from the hotel could be better. There was no information in what to do, or where to leave your luggage, if the room wasn't ready when you arrived. This caused some extra time and irritation since you had to walk back and forth 700 m (each way) with the bags to be able to keep them somewhere safe. No information about the very steeply stairs and the Wi-Fi did not work in the room. The walls between the rooms is super thin, therefore it was very noice since you heard the other guests VERY well.

Located in a pedestrianised area, difficult to find spaces for street parking - nearest car park is ~1km away. Hotel is on second floor with no lift so you have to carry your luggage up a steep stairway. Room is small. Wifi was not working on arrival but was reset fairly quickly on request. Aircon didn't work. Quite a lot of noise from the streets at night.

Directions about where to park and directions would have helped us. Kitchen had no utensils, plates, cutlery. Details said there was a lounge - there wasn't.

There were ants in the room, it wasn't very clean. There was a lot of noise at night and I couldn't sleep because of it. I made recordings of the noise and showed reception, they said that they could not control external factors and that they have very good insulation. Not worth the price

I liked everything. Maybe for some people the shower cabin could be too small to move around and to duck but otherwise all super perfect.

Bed was extremely comfortable with 4 amazing big pillows. room was very warm and it was actually kinda hot under the blanket when we woke up. Liked the tables from the wood. The most amazing was the check in we didn’t have to wait for anyone or go to the reception just had to take pictures of the passports and send them via messages here through booking and the hotel staff sent us entrance code which was valid for all access doors which was super convenient no need to worry about losing keys and entrance card just had to memorize a code and that’s all. I wish all hotels would use check in like this. Super easy and not time consuming. Location also super. Will return definitely. Thanks!

Building not exactly soundproof, neighbours upstairs could be heard loudly all night and not ideal before the day of 30km hike. Also water was cold but not a bad thing.
