Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SpainThe view from our window but it was a quiet room for sleeping in.
Breakfast was really good and well presented. The bedroom, whilst small, was bright and sunny, the AC worked very well and there was plenty of storage. The bathroom was very well appointed with great lighting, a powerful shower and good toiletries. The location is excellent, very convenient for 2 stations, bars, cafe's and it felt safe to walk around. It is also easy to walk from the hotel to the main sights, Old Town, Central Market, good shops and the parks. The hotel also offers free bike hire.

IrelandThe room was spacious and had everything we needed. There was a lovely view on to the street from our balcony window. The location was perfect - just a 10/15 minute walk from the centre in the lovely area of Ruzafa. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but found lovely cafes close by.

The location was good and plenty of restaurants nearby The staff were very nice and helpful. The room bit small for a family of two kids but still it was a good comfort stay. The attractions requires bit long walk or use taxi. Overall it was a good stay . We didn't opt of breakfast .

SwitzerlandThe room (17 m²) was a perfect size for our 6 day holiday: modern, high ceiling, comfy bed and a nice modern shower. The breakfast was varied and the coffee good. The location was also perfect for reaching the old historic center on foot. There are nice restaurants and bars close to the hotel.The hotel offers the use of free bicycles (simple), which we used twice, to explore the park and coast line (46 km). The staff, esp. Miriam, were so informative and helpful. We appreciated the friendly manner of all the staff!

This location is absolutely great. The Russafa location was 1/2 block from the bus to the central market and a 10 minute Uber to the Main train station. The area is filled with phenomenal food opportunities. This is a great value. Clean, adequate, great service and help/enthusiastic staff. The building is old but has great updates. We did not get the breakfast option because there were nice places within walking distance to get food.
