How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I liked every thing.
Great location close to good bars and restaurants. Easy walking to local attractions and transport links. Friendly and helpful reception staff. I would definitely stay here again.

A lovely bedroom, but no iron, no tea/coffee making facilities, no fridge, no table, no chairs, and most annoyingly nowhere to put anything - particularly the bathroom which desperately need a shelf.
Modern, well finished, comfortable, and very well located for Old Town restaurants and sights.

The room was relatively small (on the ground floor), and oriented towards the inner yard, so there was no natural light inside the room. Humidity issues. Thin wall between the rooms.
Great value for money. Prime location. Perfectly clean. The bed was comfortable.

Room was a little smaller then expected from photos and had no functioning windows. Needed a phone signal to read access instructions but when I couldn't find entry details message on my phone I was able to get an immediate response from the phone number provided.

There were a couple of restaurants very close by, so it got a bit noisy in the evenings, but since we had to keep the windows closed in order to have the air conditioning running, it was not such a big deal.
A little gem in the heart of the old city, a nicely refurbished old house that offers rooms equipped with all amenities. The property has a roof terrace with a stunning view of the cathedral and la Giralda. Check-in was organised online, we got our access codes on the day of arrival, and apart from an unexpected code change in the middle of our stay, everything went smoothly. The staff left fairly early in the evenings, but were available via WhatsApp for any queries and requests. It's within walking distance of the main sights of Seville and has lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

The room was absolutely fine but (wall murals and cushions aside) quite stark. Windows all face onto the inner courtyard which is quite dark. On the upside, there's no chance of street noise and this is a busy bit of town.
This was feria week, so most of all I liked that I found an old town hotel room at short notice! Good communications beforehand with my hosts, and it's nice that there is someone at the desk downstairs during the day. Great location in the middle of Santa Cruz, the side-street is quiet but loads of excellent eating/drinking options just minutes away.

Neighbourhood may be very crowded with tourists, but highly depends on time of day. Quiet breakfast coffee or late night tapas is perfectly possible. (Very)minor deception was the fact that TV did not offer any of the regular Spanish channels.
Great small scale hotel in midst od Santa Cruz neighbourhood. Good meal options just by walking out the door. Room was clean and spacious enough although you may encounter bigger. Very friendly staff.

The position of the toilet roll holder🥹
The property was perfectly situated to explore the bustling Santa Cruz area of the City, it was only a short walk from Sevilla’s beautiful Cathedral and the many bars and shops. There was a rooftop area for relaxing between visits to the city centre.

I don’t remember anywhere that it was located in only pedestrian area. It was difficult to carry baggage from text drop off to the hotel. Some foul smell but staff tried their best to mitigate it. Wish they provided hot water kettle in room.

Rooms is a little bit small, but it’s okay.
Super location. Right in the middle of the touristic places. But still noise from outside didn’t bother at all. It has nice little patio there, but unfortunately we didn’t know about that.

The bedroom was small, as expected, but space around the double bed was so restricted that only one bedside table fitted the right way round with the draw to the front. The bulb in a bedside reading light was not working and was not replaced the day after we reported it. Could have done with somewhere to rest a suitcase. (Not a criticism, but worth noting if you have heavy luggage that the nearest point accessible by taxi is about 5 minutes walk away.)
Excellent location in the old city near the Cathedral and Alcazar. Comfortable. The door code entry system (texted on the day of arrival) worked well.

A taxi can’t get to the door so you need to be ready to drag your luggage 400/500 metres to and from a taxi. Contacting accommodation worked best by text, don’t rely on email, they did answer when I phoned
Easy walking distance to central tourist sites. Immaculate and Very comfortable bed, excellent shower room, quiet. Restaurants and tapas bars close by.
