Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The views and the spatious room. We love the posada type of accomodations. Historic and confortable at the same time. We wish we could have stayed longer. This is highly recommended if you are in Sanabria.

United StatesThe bathtubs and their access are downright dangerous. This hotel should make an effort to improve the acces to the tub/shower or they should replace their rubs all together. The room with the round tub is impossible to get in and out of, and the other tubs are slippery and difficult to use.
Great hotel in a great location. The rooms are nice and adequate.

Liked that room 6 and 9 had balconies that were perfect to view the “Mercado Medival”. So central and the views were perfect. The restaurant next door was great and the staff were so helpful.

United KingdomI can't say that I liked very much, except the location! Potentially an excellent historic building but it appears that minimal work has been done to make it useable, and it has not been well-maintained. First impressions are important BUT .... it was not clear on arrival how to enter so we called at the restaurant nearby (also a Posada) who helped. The front door was locked so we had to wait for someone to let us in (despite arriving in the "recommended period"), reception was so unwelcoming it looked like a temporary setup. We were immediately advised that we couldn't park anywhere close by as there was a "street party" the following day we were given a map showing where we might find on-street parking. Luckily we found one space a few hundred metres away. The room was acceptable but a mix of cheap modern furniture in a badly finished (and not very clean) old building. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was OK and did have a nice jacuzzi bath which is great for those who like that, but showers over a bath (whilst common) are not ideal for showering. In this case it was also very slippy with no bath mat or hand-rail to help. The "buffet breakfast" (extra charge) was very bad. There was no obvious choice of alternatives with the only visible food being a bowl of fruit on the bar, from which we were were asked if we would like something; there was no cereal, no cold meat etc, etc. We were offered a glass on orange juice plus tea or coffee, and asked if we would like bread or toast and two slices were provided with butter and jam. On departure, I said that I would pay for the "breakfast" but thought it was very bad. They said it was "normal" but to their credit, they said that they would not accept payment.
