We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesFront desk clerk made me wait to check in. Granted I arrived early but I had the impression that the decision was more about policy than my room not being move-in ready. The hotel is huge and I saw very few people.
Quiet and comfortable. The owner was attentive and recommended a delicious finger-food dish to quell my hunger upon arriving.

United StatesIt's a big hotel that has a lot of under utilized space so seems very empty. The rooms however are very nice. The lobby area was chilly.
Lara the receptionist was fantastic. She answered all our questions, arranged taxis, etc. Nicolas the manager was very anxious to make our stay pleasant. We arrived in the morning before the checkin time. He worked hard to get us in our room and when that didn't work because of cleaning, he arranged to store our luggage as we explored the town.

It was unusually chilly for May, but an exception should have been made for overnight temps of 6 c./ 43 f. It doesn’t usually snow in Spain in May either, but if it did, would the hotel refuse to clean it away?
The room was clean and bright but cold. There was heat for only a few hours after 6 pm.

IrelandThe whole hotel was freezing cold. Even with the extra blanket in the cupboard I was shivering. The so called heating system in the room didn't work and even if it did it made a very loud noise when you had it on which would give you a headache. The restaurant is a joke! For a 4 star hotel this was by far the worst meal I have had on the whole Camino. There was no advertised menu. The chef was highly unhygienic and even belched on top of me when I was eating. Later I saw him spitting at the front of hotel in front of diners. He had very few options for the menu del dia and tried to force you to chose what he wanted you to have. Horrible experience and a complete waste of money. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre of town and is in the middle of nowhere.
The Ukrainian lady at reception was very helpful and friendly. I was walking the Camino and was unwell so rang and asked could I check in early and she was very professional and courteous. She seems to be the only member of staff in the whole hotel who speaks any English and is very hard working. In my opinion they would be lost without her.

AustraliaBarking aggressive guard dog Facilities: empty pool, gym, out of bounds, restaurant never saw open Staff: where are they? 1 person on reception who was pleasant and helpful, 1 guy in casual clothes so wouldn't know worked there but yelled at us for going in the gym (we were told by reception lady they aren't paying to have it supervised so it can't be used), 1 other guy hanging around reception. Room: clean and comfortable except freezing, especially the floor even when heating on.
