I liked the walk up to the top but if you are not fit it would be challenging to walk up the hill every day.

Plenty of small things: a lamp that doesn’t work, curtains don’t close completely, toiletpaperholder didn’t work, a bedsheet that’s too small. Etc. Things you wouldn’t expect for the price paid.

there was only one pillow (small) the window was broken we wanted to do some netflix and chill, but we could'nt because the last people who stayed in the room didn't log out of their account. and we could'nt do it ourselves because it was in german, and we don't speak german.

This was expected but it's important to note there are a lot of stairs. Not a negative but it's good to mention.

Because it was rainy and windy, we opted not to make the walk into town for dinner and dined here in the restaurant. It was very expensive for such small portions and very underwhelming. The convenience of eating here is the draw, but I am pretty sure that you could get better food for better value by going into town.

By reading the other reviews, we chose a Double room with Sea View over a room with a terrace and was very pleased with it. It sounds like the room sizes are variable, but this one was spacious and very comfortable. I absolutely loved having breakfast with that gorgeous view over the water and into town; stunning. We had debated staying in town for the convenience, but in the end, we enjoyed the walk--even the exercise of going up the hill--and appreciated the lovely perspective from this location.

This hotel was exceptional beautiful and the outlook from all areas was amazing. It was also an easy and glorious stroll into the centre of Cadaques, which is truly worth a visit.

One of the swimming pools had murky water. A shame because I had looked forward to using this pool since it was close to our room. I missed a breakfast buffet - the meal was served and the things we prefer were unavailable: muesli, plain yoghurt, wholewheat bread. I missed a water cooker in the room: I like being able to make a cup of tea.

Location is great! Peaceful surroundings and a gorgeous view. The staff were helpful and courteous. Dinner was available on site and was very good.

It is a hike up the hill (and down) to get to town. Most times they were able to bring the golf cart to the gate to pick us up. We did lose A.C one night until the next day.

The common area was fantastic. We did not use the pools but they and the grounds were beautiful. Bed was very comfortable.

Would have been better to have a balcony room as we were at back of hotel. If you found difficulty walking you would struggle with the hill to the hotel from the town but we think there maybe a drop off service so best to ask

I personally think it is overpriced. We had a room with a balcony which was nice and a little private. I certainly wouldn’t pay the extra for the terrace stepping out to the pool. Bathroom is very small.

This place is such a hidden gem! The staff is friendly and the location is breathtaking. It’s a short walk into town (so not suitable for elders who can’t walk up hill) but an amazing, romantic getaway for a couple.

Situated on top of a hill with views to the entire town and beyond this location is ideal. Due to its location a refreshing breeze hits the property during the warm afternoons and evenings The staff were delightful and went out of their way to help.
