When we checked out, we had to carry our suitcases down 6 floors as the lifts were in such demand that it was impossible to use them.

The friendliness of the staff, particularly Pablo, who was very welcoming when we arrived. Superb location. Large, comfortable room. Within easy walking distance of Arts and Sciences and the Turia.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and the breakfast organisation has always been very good. The blond lady in charge who has been there for many years is excellent, However since EXE have been involved and reorganised the breakfast it’s a shambles. No teabags in the main part near the machines meaning people who want tea think there are no teabags available. There is no olive oil beside the puréed tomato by the toaster!!!!!!! Given that tostados are a standard Spanish breakfast this is crazy. Also pruned etc that people have with cereals not with the cereals. Put it back to how it was. It used to work. Tell Head Office NOT to meddle with things that have worked for years. I feel sorry for the staff who have to face the criticism.

The breakfast is very good. Some of the staff are excellent but some are not so good.

Was not 3 individual beds as we booked which was disappointing as we paid for this hotel for that reason, it was more expensive than others but offered 3 individual beds. This wasn't the case when we'd arrived but we were rushed to go to a lunch so we accepted it.

No complaints about the property and the hotel room. However, I was disappointed with the attitude of a couple of staff members. One was unnecessarily aggressive and another did not seem particularly concerned about a complaint which was meant to be constructive.

Our room was a bit outdated and did not feel that luxurious. Rather basic and time for some refurbishment, especially the bathroom can do with an update.

The rooms were starting to show their age. The first floor street facing room is in an awkward spot. There wasn’t much care given to the outside patio, etc.

Rooms were decent sized and had huge jacuzzi tubs. The sea facing balcony rooms were lovely, and the breakfast was outstanding.

The roundabout just before you get to the hotel car park Placa d’Europa is a bit of a nightmare (a real free for all with no lane markings) - avoid if you can! This is obviously not the hotel’s fault. But something to be prepared for. No restaurant for evening meal but plenty of options nearby. We booked Casi di Roma just across the road and the food was very good.

Booked an Economy room with parking, which was meant to be internal, but was given an upgraded room with an external view. Allowed us to park the car earlier than check in time. Staff very helpful when replying to the various emails I sent. Car park was underground but had lots of space, and easy to walk from here internally to reception. Lovely walk through central park to old city and very close to Science and Aquarium.

The furniture was very damaged. Even the door of the room was broken at some points. Which I think was not appropriate for a hotel that has recently been renovated.

Gym could use some additional equipment such as cable machine for heavier lifters.

The room was very clean and comfortable, including relevant amenities. Gym was also a huge plus for me. Also the room service was very attentive: They came back to clean once the room was available (once we went out).
