The apartment (Vinedos) was beautiful, clean and so comfortable. This specific apartment came with a huge terrace area. Soraya was a lovely and kind host, and we were able to communicate easily despite our language barrier. Great location within walking distances of numerous wineries (definitely take up Soraya’s recommendation of visiting El Legado), supermarket, pharmacy and bars. Free parking which was a huge convenience.

Can’t fault it!

Welcoming, tastefully decorated & immaculately clean apartment, equipped with thoughtful attention to detail & comfort. The weather was cooling down during our stay but there is generous heating at the touch of a thermostat. Quiet location. Cenicero isn’t glamorous but is a genuine wine-producing village. Discreet, efficient host. Loved the recommended tour of local family bodega Calado el Legado. Nice walk along the river Ebro. Parking 1 minute walk away.

Something to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning but that's really not a problem. Just close the windows and doors during the hot day and open the windows during the night. It's a very pleasant sleep.

Staying in Cenicero at Soraya's apartments made our experience in La Rioja exceptional. The space is unparalleled in terms of amenities (i.e. dishwasher, washing machine, clothes drying line, fan, etc.) and really gives you a feeling that you're living in the heart of La Rioja for your stay. Free, easy parking outside along the road. Elevator access so it's easy to bring luggage. You can get in with either a passcode or an electronic key that Soraya provides you so very little risk of getting locked out. Also, the town of Cenicero is an extraordinary place to settle yourself in to explore La Rioja. The locals are extremely friendly and make you feel instantly at home, which is the same type of hospitality Soraya has. The bodegas in town are some of the oldest in the region and are some of the few that have underground cellars, which results in much smoother wines (not all bodegas are good from La Rioja!) Soraya is constantly available for you and is so passionate about the region and the town that you are bound to have a great time. I recommend the morning breakfast baskets and trusting the locals with their expertise to follow their recommended routes. Also, our room was very thoughtfully equipped for people with disabilities so that is a huge plus. You will have an amazing time and be very comfortable. One of the best stays I've had in many of my travels!

A very nice, little apartment complex in the heart of the Rioja region. The apartment was very comfortable, very clean and with all the mod cons you could wish for. Soraya is an amazing host. Very friendly and with lots of suggestions for trips in the surrounding countryside. She keeps everything spotlessly clean and the whole complex feels very homely ;-) WiFi and beds are excellent and the parking nearby was very handy.

The only thing I would change, and it’s very minor, is the soap bottle in the kitchen. It clogs so the soap won’t run out. I would simply replace it with one that has a pump.

Absolutely loved the patio and overall look and feel of the apartment. Very modern and clean. Gorgeous bathroom. Breakfast was a lovely touch. It’s extremely well located in the heart of the town, so you can set the wines of numerous bodegas and walk home. We would definitely return!
