Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdom- food was disappointing for me - abundant, well labelled and can sit outside if table available which it was, but for me the actual food I ate was very average at best - hard to find anything that appealed to me - unappetising, mass produced and the low light of my stay. I still would stay again as all the things I loved outweigh this but really for 4 star hotel I thought the food missed the mark by some way.
- room comfortable with good power points, fridge, kettle, good storage, nice balcony, fan, -slept very well and really enjoyed the view of the sea, beach, palm trees. Decor a bit dated but that did not impact my comfort and enjoyment....I focused on and appreciated the birds, sound of the sea, stunning views! - wifi good, no fight for sunbed, quiet and peaceful by the pools...nice and spacious. - fab long white sandy beach right there for long walk - felt very safe and could take dip in sea which was 'fresh' and enjoyable - lovely outdoor jacuzzi which could enjoy whilst staring at abundant palm trees - offer for shower before airport after checkout very much appreciated - for small fee could order breakfast in room which was nice option - much better than hotels in main town- this has proper beach and expanded space.....and I would return - wonderful staff - more than pleasant and very helpful without exception.

GermanyI didn't do my diligent research about it and I was sad to realize this gem is nested in the middle of a natural paradise, which comes indeed in favor of the hotel and sales, but from an environmental point of view it is quite an ecological disaster. The buffet could use of more vegetarian, healthier options.
The staff is very friendly and cordial. Great pool area with direct access to a sandy beach with access to water. Great selection of food at the breakfast and dinner buffets.

BelgiumLocation: in the middle of a national park No double glazing in rooms: my room was above the entrance, so regular coming & goings late into the night (but nothing a good pair of ear plugs couldn't solve) After 10 days dessert buffet tended to be more of the same (but that is a luxury 'problem'), main meals were well varied
Very friendly staff, remarkably so Cleanliness of the rooms & public spaces Location Pools No animation around the pools (blissful silence) View over the sea & the dunes Catering to a quiet crowd

GermanyOnly very small disappointment may be the desserts, which are not as tasty as during our last stay some years ago.
The beach nearby is exceptional, so beautiful. The staff of the Tres Islas is very, very kind, always smiling. We really enjoyed our time in the hotel.

United KingdomThe buffet did vary a bit. Some nights and mornings it was a bit average. Very good some nights. The seclusion of the hotel is part of its attraction in one sense but it did get a bit annoying having to get tacos all the time to go into the nearby town where my friends were staying. Main issue was some of the staff were rude. Some were very nice especially the cleaners but I found some of them rude. When you arrive they seem to expect you to know how everything works and when you don’t they don’t seem very happy about it. Could do with a bit more of an explanation at the start as to how it all works. For example I thought the sun beds on beach were free for guest until someone came up to be aggressively demanding 6 euros. Found staff at the spa very rude. Demanded I left the sauna aggressively as apparently you have to book a slot. Something no one bothered to tell me. Had just paid for a massage and was in a relaxed frame of mind and the experience took away from it all in a negative sense.
I liked my room a lot even though I didn’t go for one of the ones overlooking the pool/sea. Airy and the bead was comfortable. There is a bath. The cleaners were very friendly. Good value for money on the whole. Mini bar wasn’t too expensive. I was half board but the drinks I got by the pool etc weren’t expensive at all. Very easy access to a lovely stretch of beach. Buffet generally pretty good. Pool area lovely. Relaxing vibe. So easy to switch off. Liked the birds everywhere singing.

United KingdomIt was clean but quite scruffy in places. The food was very disappointing especially in the A la Carte, it was presented very badly and we just couldn’t eat it. The buffet was just ok.
The location is amazing, we love the stretch of beach. I stayed here 18yrs ago and it doesn’t seem to have changed.

IrelandThe bed as I said was too firm. The hotel itself feels a bit dated but still did not bother me too much. The location is a little far from Correlejo as you need to either walk on the beach which i think takes well over an hour or else taxi which costs around 10 euro. However because it was located on the stunning beach then it did not bother me.
The hotel is very welcoming when you arrive and you are greeted with a glass of champagne which is wonderful. The front desk are super friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. The room was a bit dated but still pretty cosy. The bed unfortunately for me was way too firm although when I asked for a topper it was no problem so that made things better. The food in the restaurant is very good and lots of choice. The location right on the beach is amazing. You can walk or swim in the two beaches either side of the hotel.

United KingdomNothing, so as always this hotel is worth another visit!
Location is always to die for. In national park on 2 beaches, one with waves the other more sheltered. Service on the whole is very good and the food good too, although i had noticed a change in the quality and options available. As have many hotels have had to adopt i suspect. Have been to this hotel 4 times and plan to go again. Tennis courts are definitely a bonus!

CanadaThe cleaning staff did not replenish the toiletries and the pillows in the beds are very thin. It makes hard to rest your head on that. Also, we had an issue with our television and told the bellboy to help us fix it with maintenance. They pass the message but no one came to resolve the matter. In the end, we fixed it ourselves.
The hotel is located in the Dunes of Corralejo. Excellent location. Half hour away from the airport by car. The staff was friendly and the all inclusive plan was perfect. The food was great and they have a very big selection. The room was comfortable and with ample space in the closets.
