Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe hairdryer is available onsite but you have to ask to the personnel
We loved the atmosphere, the garden, the availability of a fully equipped kitchen for the meals (and not having to wash the dishes!), the privacy and the quiet. Bedrooms are simple but very clean, with comfortable beds and large storage. Common spaces are so cozy, we loved the library. Some of the bedrooms are inside the "main" house, some are in the old stall, facing a lovely patio.

United KingdomA very pleasant and welcoming place to stay. I felt like I had a great base to visit the island and got a lot of help and recommendations planning my visits. I used the buses which stop at the village of Antigua 15 minutes walk away. There are super markets to buy all the food you need and a few restaurants. Highly recommended if you want to experience a more authentic side of the island and get away from busy tourist sites on the coast. Great for remote work too.

Quiet atmosphere very rustic unique farm house, Room size was good with an on suite, large kitchen with lots of utensils. Wasn’t a problem cooking at the same time as other guests. Water, coffee and tea were provided as well as chocolate and cookies. Met some lovely people and enjoyed their company regardless of language barriers.

FranceMy only remark would be to "advertise" the place a bit more from the outside. Depending on where you arrive from, it can be hard to tell if you are on the right spot or not. But David was responsive, so it did not matter much in practice.
After five days in Corralejo, spending two days here was refreshing. The place is quiet, authentic and cozy in an old fashioned kind of way. It felt really nice to sit and read around the patio, all common spaces are really inviting. A suprisingly good stop on my way south.

United KingdomDavid was a wonderful host - multi-lingual too - and was always readily available to accommodate us with whatever we needed; whether that was information, resources (he managed to find a USB-C cable to connect our rental car to our phones for 'Android Auto') as well as making sure we had everything in our rooms. The location is very remote (you'll need a rental car, otherwise you've got a lengthy walk to the nearest bus stop) but because of that, the space is peaceful and relaxing. The scenery and surrounding aesthetics are stunning and promotes relaxation whilst you're there. Plus, you're directly in the centre of the island, so it's perfectly positioned to go in any direction you like and not be too far away from home base than if you were on the coast, for example. The guests are left to decide whether to use the kitchen and dining areas to cook and/or prepare their own food if they choose to eat-in and the staff clean up the plates and cups etc. and there's a supermarket and a mini market up the road if you wish to have your own food at the hotel. We can't say enough lovely things about the place - amazing host with impeccable communication, perfect location, comfortable rooms - all-in-all, a wonderful hotel.

IrelandThe shower area was a little tired but not enough to be Yuk and the water pressure was very good.
All the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Our bedroom was lovely and led out to an inner courtyard where you could eat meals or have a glass of wine. The shared areas were perfect... You could escape to a comfy inner space with plenty of areas to curl up and read a book, the kitchen had everything you could possibly want and you had the pleasure of making your own food but the washing up elves came in and did the rest!!!!

What a fantastic hotel! A converted traditional farmhouse which is like a cross between a luxury hotel and the best self-catering accommodation ever. As well as luxurious rooms there is ahuge, well-equiped kitchen where you can prepare food and drinks... and not worry about the washing up! David, the owner, was incredibly helpful and spent ages helping us to work out where would be good places to visit in order to make our stay on Fuerteventura the best it could be. All much appreciated, including advice about places to visit when we had moved on to our next location. although the patio was a beautiful option for us to eat breakfast, we chose to take the short stroll into Antigua each morning and have breakfast at the local bakery - again recommended by David. THIS is what all accommodation shoud aspire to be like!

United KingdomI didn't like that I had to leave ;)
You will be mesmerised by its beauty, enchanted by its character, and you will not want to leave. I’ve stayed in many places up and down the island, but nothing compares to here. Malole and David are AMAZING hosts, the staff are super kind, the facilities and rooms are wonderful, showers are hot, Wifi is super fast and the kitchen is well stocked with all cooking equipment & utensils. My recommendation would be to stay here at the end of your trip, and not at the beginning. You won't regret it! Fuerteventura is a long island and can be a little misleading when travelling direct from north to south/ south to north. Antigua is a great location as it offers access to sites more central and the rugged west coastline.

We absolutely loved this place. I have never stayed at a more charming place. It is a historical farm-house converted guest house with lots of character. The rooms are very big and they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The common areas are so spacious that even if there are other guests you get lots of privacy. The shared kitchen is huge and very well-equipped. We talked to the owner, David who gave us advice on what to visit right when we checked in. There is also safe parking for the car.

PolandAmazing place, with a great story behind! Very well managed, clean, shiny and very comfortable! The house is very tradicional, and gives you an experience of the real rural Fuerteventura - something I didn't quite expect! It has little court, garden and a great living room - different spaces to hang out and chill! It also has a very easygoing, comfy vibe! The landscape around is awesome, too. Beautiful sunsets! And amazing sky with the stars above! And very friendly, discreetly helpful, not intrusive hosts 🙏🏽🙌🏽 Perfect place! Ps. Access rather by car
