Nothing! Perhaps the only small comment would be there was no bedside light.

If you want to be out of town, this is a perfect stay. Up on the hill, in a pleasant area, looking over the bay and majestic mountains, this was a real find. The building is nicely fitted out, with a lovely garden to the side and terrace tables at the front, perfect for a relaxing drink, made even better by the view. The room was really nice with the added bonus of a private balcony overlooking the gardens. Beds were comfortable too. The couple running the hotel were very friendly. They operated a bar so we could have an evening drink and in the morning, a great, simple breakfast with coffee for only 3.50 each. Dogs were very welcome too.

The breakfast was a bit basic, for 3.50 euros, got given a slice of white bread, a pat of butter and jam. (no choice of bread) and coffee. No other meals were on offer, other than breakfast. Had to provide our own cups for the bathroom and evening glass of wine etc. When having a shower the pressure dropped, if anyone else was showering at the same time.

The location of the hotel is outside Ribadesella, so a bit of a walk if not wanting to drive. The views of Ribadesella and the mountains were great. A feeling of having the country side all around. The room had a balcony so could sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and take in the sights and sounds. The shower was a good size and room to move around.

Wifi connection in our room didn't work. Had to go down the stairs or the bar to get decent connection. The host who checked us in couldn't speak English so thanks Google translate. However the other staff (at breakfast time) can and was so helpful. Bed was a bit squeaky to my liking.

Loved the mountain & town/ocean views from our room windows. It's so tranquil. Town of Ribadesella and Playa de Santa Marina is just about 10min drive away. Free parking a bonus. €4 breakfast consist of a big croissant with jam+butter and huge cup of great coffee!

The bed was fairly small but ok, we don't mind that. Only one long pillow was supplied however and that was a bit difficult.

This little hotel outside of town in a small village was exactly as described. We were warmly welcomed and were able to park in front. It is a short drive into the city but there also a few restaurants withing walking distance in the neighborhood. The view from the property is breathtaking! Breakfast was not included, nor expected but a delicious cup of coffee was available before our departure.

On arrival we were met by the grumpy owner with a cigarette in his mouth inside the bar area. He could provide nothing except bottled beer. Overall he was indifferent to us. We would have left but we were too tired. The room walls were very thin. We can’t recommend this place.

So I went into the wrong door because I was walking and really you need a car to stay here. The man working was an absolute d**k with a terrible attitude. Clearly, hates working at a hotel so I slept at a hotel near the beach instead. A cat had climbed in through the gap that I left open and it made the room super dirty and it smelt terrible.

We actually paid extra for a better view from the room but got a room with a view on the courtyard :). Not sure what we would have gotten without the extra LOL. The shower was annoying as you had to hold the hose in your hand because it couldn't stay on the wall. It was good enough, but just lacked a little extra effort to make it really good.

We didn't have breakfast there, but it looked very Spanish: tostada con tomate :). The coffee was very good and they were accommodating to give us plates so we could eat our own papaya.

Absolutely loved our short stay at Hotel La Curva. The location is perfect (5 mins by car to Ribadesella + other sites), rooms were very cozy and well equipped with a spectacular view, delicious coffee/breakfast. The owner is a lovely person and made us feel right at home! We will definitely be returning to Hotel La Curva during our next trip to Asturias!
