How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing it was perfect!
Exceptionally clean, beautiful interiors, very well located in the Citudella. There was access to bea che towels, cooler bags and umbrellas free of charge for beach/exploring days and a mini bar at no extra cost!

I'm struggling to find anything I didn't like. I guess I would put smaller beds in the room to give more room for moving around. I know that is a big expense so when they are replaced...
Sebastian is an excellent host! Communication with him was timely and we felt taken care of. He took care of any needs that we had. We wanted two chairs or the poufs downstairs because it was difficult to sit in bed all the time. He brought the poufs upstairs for us. We were impressed with all the goodies that came with the room- water, soda, cookies, and the coffee pot w/pods, the beds were comfy, the info provided about visiting Menorca, the backpacks and umbrellas. The hotel was nicely reformed just like the photos. A few more details that made the stay wonderful: - having the electronic keypads with our phone number made it very easy to enter the room - without a card or key. Oh, the hair dryer that you did not have to hold the button unlike all other hotel dryers! To have the glass separately the bathroom and the room eliminating the steam was fabulous!

The only thing I would improve would be slightly more storage in the room - there are open shelves and hooks to hang clothes, rather than chests of drawers/wardrobes but I can see why they have chosen to design it this way to maximise the spacious feel of the smaller rooms.
We absolutely loved this hotel! Alvaro was so welcoming and helpful, giving us loads of tips for beaches to visit, places to eat/drink etc. He was available on WhatsApp all the time for any questions we had. The hotel is beautifully decorated, simple but effective and very well facilitated with added extras such as beach towels and cool bags provided, complimentary beers and soft drinks in the fridge, fresh biscuits provided each day. Perfect location for exploring Ciutadella, down a nice quiet street but easy walking distance to everything the small city has to offer, as well as the bus stops to explore the island.

Great location, and as many have said Álvaro was a fantastic host. Beach towels, umbrellas and cool bags available to borrow. Great restaurants nearby. Complimentary drinks in the room. Couldn’t wish for better accommodation, and loved the small courtyard outside our room too. Thank you

Alvaro was exceptionally useful and helped us with things we needed, and gave us lots of advice about beaches, restaurants, and other things to do. Perfect location in the old town.

Àlvaro was the best host - we arrived early at the hotel (way before check-in time) but that was no problem. Also, he had a lot of tips and tricks to make the most out of our stay (he was non-stop and at any time available to answer our questions in person or via WhatsApp). The room is super clean and the hotel is very central - you are in the middle of Ciutadella. As it is a family/boutique hotel, there is no restaurant and there is no breakfast service but we knew that in advance and that was no problem. Nonetheless, Àlvaro made sure that our mini fridge in the room was always full of drinks and snacks all for free. Highly recommend!

S’enclova Petit was perfect. The host couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly, and helpful. He gave us lots of excellent recommendations. The room was spotless and had a lovely, minimal design. Well stocked with coffee, soft drinks & beers which were refilled daily for free - a very thoughtful touch! Great location to explore Ciutadella. Highly recommend, and we would love to visit again!

Nothing, everything is perfect.
Can't recommend this place enough. Great location, rooms are great, very cozy, extremely clean, new! And to top it all off you get Alvaro who is the nicest most helpful host I've seen! If I ever go back to Menorca I know where I'm staying!

Fantastic central location, super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with comfy beds and a good sized shower. The outside space made the room feel more like a mini suite, creating a different area to relax in. I would highly recommend.

No flaws, just excellent!!
It was flawless, I have never experienced such amazing hospitality. Alvaro is the most helpful and welcoming and the hotel is incredibly decorated to the last detail and one of the cleanest I have ever seen. The location was also great. We had an unforgettable anniversary.

The location was perfect, only a few meters from all the restaurants and shops. The bedroom was a great size, we had the one with a lovely terrace so it was a bonus, loved the style of it. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was a very good size. The host, Alvaro, was very helpful all the time and gave us great recommendations.

S'Enclova has the best host ever! When we arrived, he explained us all about the city - the best restaurants, bars and even beaches. He was always available to talk with us and gave us the best recommendations. Also, he borrowed us a parasol and a beach fridge. Furthermore, the room was super clean and the hotel is located in a very central zone.

At S’Enclova we felt at home since the first moment. The hotel is just like in the picture, everything is really clean and faithful to the Menorcan style. Really close to the city center and to the most famous spots, it is also really close to free parking lots. Álvaro had been a great host, giving us such special suggestions about beaches and reataurants and always being available to answer all our questions. Even thanks to S’Enclova we just loved our stay in Minorca.
