lovely hotel beautiful hotel couldn't fault but only thing was it wasn't tea and coffee facilities in the room although the staff did provide a kettle you could help yourself upstairs to tea and coffees but that seems an inconvenience in the mornings when the staffing preparing breakfast that was the only fault otherwise ten out ten

This hotel is slightly frustrating in that it is very good and comes close to being fantastic but is lacking in a few areas: the bed looks great in the photos, but ours was actually broken in a couple of places! The shower was blocked and needed to be attended to. The restaurant was closed for summer season. The breakfast was excellent, but you have to ask for almost everything without knowing what is available. The staff at breakfast were super helpful but I had the impression they were struggling with the system they had to work within! Overall we had the impression that everything was being run on minimum budget and some maintenenace and upgrading is needed. The parking was also a little complicated considering we paid 12 euros per night.

The building is beautiful and the decor elegant and tasteful. The roof terrace with the jacuzzi and nice views is a lovely place to just relax and sun bathe with a drink, and also a nice place to have breakfast. The room was comfortable. It is in an excellent location to explore the centre of Begur with easy access to the resturants and shops.

Bathroom could do with a deep clean, mouldy grout and shower heads need descaling. Minimal choice of bar drinks, in fact they ran out of wine after one round. It’s a shame that with the nice lounge area and roof terrace that these in May were underused. Think this may be because it was shoulder season but felt a bit short changed for a four star hotel. it’s really a v smart B&B

No charge for the indoor steam room or hot tub/jacuzzi. 20E was a bit much for 30 min use no matter how beautiful it is.

No kettle/drink machine in the room.

Lovely staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful no matter what we requested. The internal decor is sumptuous. Our only gripe is that there is no kettle or drink making facilities in the room; so one has to wait until the restaurant is open to get an early morning drink. Next time we’ll take our travel kettle.

A beautiful hotel right in the heart of Begur. Our room had a patio with lounge chairs that had a direct view of the castle. The receptionist was extremely friendly and easily helped us with a taxi for the following day. The rooftop terrace was really nice too. Comfortable beds. Beautiful shared lounge area.

The hotel had no bad points from what we could see, we had a good experience.

Lots of character in the building but made very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and warm and friendly. Breakfast was good and out on the rooftop which gave a lovely view. Would easily stay here again. The hotel was in a great location not far from the main square.

Nothing - it was a wonderful stay.

Beautifully restored hotel in the centre of Begur. Only a small number of rooms and lovely staff made for a very enjoyable stay. Balcony overlooking the town centre streets below was enjoyable in the evenings. The rooftop area was quiet and relaxing for tanning or enjoying the cool water jacuzzi. Enjoyable breakfasts on the rooftop area, with all pastries, cold meats, cereal available as well as eggs and toast etc made fresh for each guest.

Lack of sunbeds on the roof terrace. There was no menu anywhere.
