How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Absolutely faultless! Very friendly welcome. Stayed in the annex with the pool 20meters away. Seemed to be brand new facilities. Spacious room. Quieter part of town but still central

Relatively old building, so no elevator (not so convenient if e.g. traveling with a stroller) and room insulation not great.
Location, cleanliness, super friendly staff, nice small balcony.

No poolside refreshments available. Short dinner menu but understandable at this time .poolwas small so in really busy times difficult to get a few lengths in . Good for a cool down
Great location for beach shops and restaurants . Very friendly and helpful staff who attended to requests straight away . Breakfast offered buffet and cooked . Good prices for food and drink . Quiet and small just what we needed.very clean and well kept in and in surroundings .

I can't think of anything I didn't love about my stay.
Ranks amongst some of my best experiences staying anywhere. The hotel is lovely, clean, with rooms that are bright and, for the price, very well maintained; the location is super convenient and close to everywhere, etc. What really makes the hotel, however, is its friendly, helpful and funny staff - Pillar and Eva, in particular, made us feel truly at home and like we're more than just the next people in room 114. We can't wait to come back!

The shower cubicle was a little difficult to access for my husband as he has Parkinson's Disease but we managed. Otherwise, this hotel was great for our needs.
The room was easy to access and the beds very comfortable. The location was excellent for us because it was in a quiet area of town and within walking distance of the amenities.

Toiletries only the first day (we thought that the made was forgetting to put the new ones but then we found out that you only get them when you arrive in ‘case you forget yours’.
Very nice and clean hotel with good breakfast (although same every day but still very good), comfy beds and renovated bathroom I would say.

I wouldn't recommend to take the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, it took me 3h to get to the hotel because they wait for the bus to be full without information of how long it will take. Also the bus is old and not particularly comfortable.
The hotel is very clean and staff kind and helpful. Definitely a nice place to stay.

This hotel is very clean, well located and is great value for money. Daily cleaning service. I especially loved the pool which was really quiet and peaceful. No problem getting a sun lounger here! The breakfast every morning was delicious. We were not far from the many local beaches, bars & restaurants. Travelling as a couple, we had a great holiday here.

I can't rate this hotel highly enough it is an absolute Gem. From the initial welcome from Pilar at reception , Ana, Micheal, and everybody make you feel so welcome. The hotel itself is quality sitting right on the edge of all that's happening in cala Dor but far enough away to be lovely and peaceful - lovely buffet style breakfast but with your eggs and bacon cooked to order made for a great start to everyday. Thankyou everyone for a terrific holiday Karl and Sandra xx
Everything - pool is 50m round the corner - very quiet with lots of loungers and parasols.

Beds were new so were a little too firm for us. But we were given mattress toppers without any issues. An option for sausages at breakfast would of been nice. But bacon and eggs were cooked right every morning!
