How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Fantastic place to stay. Really comfortable beds. Breakfast was really good. Secure under ground parking for our motorbikes. Close to town centre and good bars & restaurants. Excellent!!!

Amazing stuff. Very helpful and pleasant. Nice breakfast. Everything is clean and quite new. Good location, within walking distance to the touristic city center. Definitely will come back.

Access a nightmare! Carpark acess by lift a nightmare do not even try to park in the private parking unless you have a mini or are a very very good driver.. luckily one of us was! The receptionist was helpful but had NO english we got by with my moderate Spanish. We did not have the free bottle of water or the bathr robes and slippers our friends had and it took me a very long time to explain to the receptionist in my best and not too bad Spanish that we had not had these in our room to start with and was concerned we might be charged with stealing them!! I am hoping she understood!!!

There was no water in some floors in the morning. Staff was not helpful and unfriendly and did not provide any alternative like another room with a functioning water.

There was no hot water for the whole period. After a long and hot day, not being able to take a shower was just not what we was expecting.
The location was perfect.

Had to think about this... Only thing is limited plugs around the bed for electronics. I suggest you only change bedlights with integrated USB ports until you do a room renovation
Love the location , spacious room and terrace , comfortable Bed great linens , reception was professional efficient and knew the area around the Hotel.

Location was good. Close to everything you need on a short stay. Will probably be back in the future when passing Ciudad Real. Good breakfast and a very good bed after a 5h trip on the road. Recommended.

I was disappointed with this hotel. Room was warm and stuffy; air conditioner did little to help nor did the windows as they opened.onto an airshaft with no air movement. The air conditioner was noisy and I had to wear.earplugs to sleep. There was no hot water for the shower at night, nor in the morning. Water was barely warm. The room was quite small, about one meter from the end of the bed to the wall. Cramped for 2 people to get around.
Clean room, comfortable bed, pleasant staff.

I paid the equivalent of 20 euros for the breakfast which was a very basic breakfast and certainly not worth that money. The car park was not in use and the hotel in general did not seem to be well maintained ie hand gel dispenser not working no toiletries in the bathroom

The bed was very comfortable, there were no sockets next to the bed, only one on one side on the skirting. The chair for reading collapsed on me, the shower had no pressure, there was a hole in the wall where the door was pushed into it.

The Room did not meet my expectations for a four stars hotel. I had a feeling the 4 stars were given to this hotel in the 1989. Everything was quiet old. Our room was very very small with almost no room to even open our laggage. No natural light, very dark room. I expected a bit more comfort.
Great location. The staff was nice. The bathroom was comfortable and big enough as well.

One lift didn't work, curtains didn't shut very well so lighting from street entered room and the noise from outside wasn't helped by the draft coming from the window.
