We just returned from a great 5-nights stay in the Slow-Home-Apartment house and for us it is a 5-star place! Jorge is a very friendly and guest orientated host who warmly welcomed us at his place. He gave us a lot of tips for discovering Valencia city and beach. The apartment including all kitchen appliances and the public area of the building were very clean and you can feel all over that Jorge is putting all his energy into making the stay as pleasant as possible for his guests. At this place you really feel that the small things makes the difference starting with already prepared ice cubes in the fridge, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar as well as dishwasher tabs, liquids and towels being available for the stay. The bathroom was equipped with all necessary items. Although two beach pareos and a beach bag was waiting for us and not to forget the pegs which were very useful for drying the swim suits on the small balcony. I mention all these little things because they make your stay easier if you are travelling by plane with small luggage and they show the careness of this place. Staying in this area is a great combination for a city trip and a beach holiday. We would definitely recommend Slow-Home-Apartment house - it couldn't have been better! 1. Well-equiped appartment: cuttlery-full set, dish washer, set of teas, coffees incl. coffee machine, even full set of spices (salt, pepper etc). In fact all that you may need for daily short-term staying, you can find there and nothing to be worry about, even women accesories. The owner has thought of everything, really. 2. Extremally clean rooms and bathroom, modest but modern. It looks like exactly as you can find on Booking photos. Aircondition well working to cool and to heat 3. Comfortable pillows (not like in some hotels where you can find these silikon and artificial stuff) and beds. Bedclothes white and fresh, not "just cleaned". 4. Very engaged and helpful manager (Jorge), ready to give you plenty of recommendations where to eat, what to see, where to go to do shopping, how to travel across Valencia, where to get the bus tickets from and whatever you may need to ask. Useful recommendations you can find also on the QR-code doors 5. Good&friendly localization - the district itself may not look very cute at a very first look (El Cabanyal is a pretty old one, some houses almost collapse) although: - it's safe and nothing to be worry about - after one or two days you will confirm the same - within 1 min walk there's bus stop to go to the city center, it takes less than 20 mins to get to Main Sq. - within 30 sec walk there's a local bakery with fresh pan everyday (ask to sell you the bread that is cut) - within max 5 min walk numerous cafeterias, tapas bars, tapas cafes, icecream tapas, and whatever-tapas you may feel to taste - within 5 min walk several local small shops with fruits and one supermarket (Dia) with very pretty cashier for bigger shopping 6. Big clean beach MalvaRosa is just 5-7 min walk and the other one - Las Arenas: 15 mins where you can find numerous restaurants, bars and heladerias 7. Strong wifi and you can benefit from several minutes of silence and peace when kids play online games

There is nothing about the property itself. The only thing is that the property is a bit far from city center and it was not always easy to get a taxi. For travelers that are looking for the beach it is perfect but for those who are looking to spend time in the city center mainly, it is not necessarily convenient

We really like it. The furniture and the flat had everything we needed. We appreciated very much the little tent that was put there for the kids. It was very kind and very much appreciated

It would be nice to put a small shoe cabinet somewhere and to hang several hooks for the jacket in the corridor-kitchen zone because there are none and you need to take the jacket to the bedroom.

Apartment was bright and clean. Kitchen is well equipped. You can find oil, salt, pepper, paper towel, coffee, tea. Jorge and cleaning lady were very friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed our stay, thank you!

This charming apartment exceeded all expectations for our recent few-day stay. Check-in / check-out was very easy convenient and flexible. The building is modern, the apartment design is smart and stylish, has an authentic Spanish touch in details, minimalistic but ergonomic and comfortable. Good quality furniture, especially the kitchen - solid nice materials, nice soft colors. In the apartment, you have everything you need - even the beach blankets are in a beach bag in the closet. The kitchenware is all there as if you're at home. It's very well equipped - a coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle, a smoothie maker, a dishwasher, even a steamer to iron the clothes. The washing machines and dryers are in the lobby if you need them. The atmosphere in general is rather home-like and comfy, doesn't feel like a property made to rent out, made like you would do for yourself, picking only the best things and decent materials. The host is very nice and always in touch, very helpful and friendly, cares a lot about the comfort of his guests makes you feel very welcome.

The apartment is modern, bright, clean and beautifully appointed. It has everything you need and the location is perfect. Not the most beautiful area but only a few minutes from the beach, great restaurants, a lovely baker and supermarkets. The busstop is so close with regular buses into the centre of Valencia. The manager, Jorge, was so friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble.

There is communal washing machine - it is not really convenient and should be mentioned clearly in the room description. Shower design is not excellent. Valencia: taxi is relatively expensive, therefore getting to the airport or aquarium is costly (though much slower options with metro and bus are available).

Nice stylish apartments with well equipped kitchen in authentic area of Valencia with beautiful buildings: in front of busy square, working distance to sea and tram stop to commute to the city centre. Many fruterias and pastelerias around: people don’t speak English, but so hearty. Many restaurants. Extremely hospitable Jorge and all other staff. Valencia is very interesting city: offers nice beaches, vibes of old town, modern architecture, e.g. huge aquarium and of course good weather. There are things to do outside the city as well: underground lake, hot springs etc.

There is a lot of construction going on around, so if you like to sleep with your windows open - as I do - it can be a bit noisy. But there is also air-conditioning so you can choose to use that instead.

The location of the apartment was perfect, almost next door to a great bakery - which you could sometimes smell in the morning - and a paella take away ánd ofcourse the beach (10min). The size is the apartment is great, and it is very bright, the lightfall was amazing and also had everything you need. Very neat, clean and great pillows oh and the shower, super powerful! And ofcourse Jorge, who is always available for a chat and to give tips.

The accommodation was beautiful, modern, clean, and cozy. It was housed in a wonderfully renovated building with apartments. Contactless key pickup (perfect). The kitchen was excellently equipped. The location was great, with the sea just a stone's throw away, good access to public transportation, and restaurants and grocery stores. Jorge was great, communicated and inquired if everything was in order. We can only highly recommend it!
