The coffee machine wasn't working for the first two days we were there, however, the wait staff were more than happy to prepare coffee for guests using the bar facilities.

A beautiful hotel in a superb location, which boasts large, spotlessly clean rooms. The bed was also incrediby comfortable. I particularly liked the fact that the room had a wonderful balcony with windows which opened. Breakfast was varied and tasty, and the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. I would most definitely stay here again, if I'm lucky enough to get back to Santander.

Every thing was good but there was a bit of confusion over whether I had paid so I had to pay again. This was sorted out quickly with a refund and booking.com was blamed……Not sure who was at fault but I was not happy about paying twice.

The hotel was very smart and just off the main square with restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. The bed was very large and comfortable with a smart bathroom. Every where was very clean. The building had plenty of character and was within 15 minutes walk of the station and five minutes to the promenade. Tea making facilities were appreciated.

The cleaning did not put too much toilet paper when cleaning the room daily, so you should ask in reception for additional:) One day at the breakfast there was only one person servicing the whole area and you could feel that it is not enough. Tables were not cleaned and empty plates at the buffet were not replaced duly on time.

The location is perfect to explore Santander and its surroundings. Parking nearby. Brekfast very good.

The fact that we only had one night!!! Otherwise there was nothing that could be faulted.

The Hotel is a stylishly, beautifully refurbished old building. It is situated in a quiet and very attractive street. Our room was on the first floor, enormously spacious, with a covered balcony and two Juliet balconies, one of which was in the BATHROOM! We had two beds (twin room) each was big and extremely comfortable. There was tea/coffee making facilities, beautifully stylish decor, plenty of wardrobe space if required. The shower room was as big as a bedroom, enormous shower and TWO sinks, along with of course, the toilet. The young male and female team members who welcomed us, of which Ana was one, were so friendly, kind and helpful and booked a taxi for us for the following morning's journey to the airport. On exploring the Hotel further, the lounge area on the 1st level was very ornately decorated, there was a pleasant bar and breakfast room. We thought the Hotel was exceptional in all ways and would not just stay there again, but actually WANT to return in the future. Superb!!!

The hotel building is a beautiful former palace shared with the local Yacht Club and overlooking a large square. The location is ideally situated for all the local attractions and is a 10 minutes walk from the bus/train stations and ferry terminal. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby to choose from - the nearest beach is a 20 mins walk and the superb art gallery 5 mins. The room was very quiet, comfortable and spacious - the bathroom spotlessly clean. This was our 3rd visit here recently, the staff are very friendly and helpful - we'll definitely be coming back!

Quite possibly the best nights sleep we have had away from our home. The bed was so comfortable and there were 3 pillows of different softness for you to choose. The air conditioner and room climate was also excellent.

The hotel was in a great location —we walked everywhere—great restaurants , museums, sights—all close by. The room was very comfortable and spacious as well as quiet. The staff were very nice and gave us suggestions on places to eat (although I confess we easily found our own places )

The location of the hotel is perfect. So many restaurants on the doorstep. So easy to get to from the port/ bus/railway station. The reception staff were so pleasant and helpful.

Very good location with easy access to the main centre of Santander and the shore line A great mix of old and modern that fully complimented each other, large room and bathroom, kettle (we're English and love tea]. Staff were fantastic
