The air con didn’t work as reviews before had said. Blew out warm air. However, the weather is very mixed in Santander so the room was cool enough with a window open. The shower leaked if you had anything but a brief shower but it was room service every day so it got cleaned up and new towels to replace what I’d laid on the floor. Lovely bathroom though so not uncomfortable. If you only want coffee then it’s a coffee machine but a phaff to make enough water for decent cups of tea.

Stunning building in a great location for bars, restaurants and the quayside. We had the Atlántica room with the map on the wall. Very pretty and beautifully clean. This room had its own little summer room and access to a verandah. It was beautiful. The staff were helpful and we left our bags at the beginning and end of our stay.

It was all good.

Lovely spacious room, well equipped with tasteful decor. Very good shower and comfortable bed. Good location for bars and restaurants and the seafront. About 20 minutes walk to the ferry. Although it is at the top of a hill there are street escalators. Very quiet.

Everything. The hotel was very clean and beautiful and location was perfect. The rooms had everything you need and the staff were friendly and willing to help with any questions you may have. There was a nice terrace outside which was a sun trap.

Good location to explore Santander. Useful there are escalators on the pavement leading up the road to the hotel as it’s very steep! The hotel is very spacious, is immaculately clean and has air fresheners pumping out lovely smells! There is a small bar with indoor and outdoor seating which catches the evening sun. Breakfast is OK, mainly cold selections but some hot. Enjoyed the fresh fruit kebabs. Our room was comfortable with a powerful shower.

I can't think of anything I was unhappy about. Maybe the fridge wasn't that cold, and I couldn't get the safe to switch on/work, with hind site there's probably a problem with the electrics, apologies I should have reported it (room 102)

This hotel is fabulous, a real gem! Friendly staff, very clean, super comfy beds. We had a beautiful room with high ceiling, long windows with net drapes in the Spanish sun ❤️ and walk in shower. And is was completely wheelchair accessible it seemed, we didn't need one but noticed the features and it looked like alot of care had been taken. Would definitely revisit.

Plentiful of what there was but just a bit of a let down when everything else was so good. Cooked food could have been hotter. A fruit salad rather than preserved fruit too.

wish we stayed longer! we only stayed for a night...

We rented a car and the parking was very convenient. 1) we inquired where to park, and they explained and gave us a map plus googlemaps for the directions even before our check in. 2) we didnt think about it, but so glad they suggested we leave our luggage before parking & during check out to come back for the luggage at the lobby. if they did not sugest that the easy 5 min walk would have been so difficult with our luggage. I did not expect for the hotel to be simple & luxurious at the same time. We visited el sardinero beach which was so near!!
