Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IrelandThought I'd be able to sit out on the balcony but it's only a small standing step. Room size was OK because I stayed alone but if there were three people it would have been crowded.
Good location nice to have the sea view. Vending machine was handy to get a fresh water or cola to have in the room.

United KingdomI removed 1 star on 2 aspects: 1. There was a foul smell in the room. They sprayed some room freshener everyday which helped, but did not cover the smell fully 2. There was no real window in my room, though there was a window opening into a very small courtyard / fully enclosed balcony kind of space, so to be fair there was some natural light coming in to the room.
Extremely good value for money - definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of the size of the room, the comfort factor and amenities available. Specifically, the bathroom was high quality in terms of cleanliness, fixtures, and the shower water pressure and temperature control (which I have found to be less than satisfactory in many premium properties). 24hrs reception with very helpful English speaking staff. Breakfast available was also great, with a very good spread and quality again for the price. The location is great if you want to spend more time at the beach ... it's RIGHT next to the beach. A bit distant from the old town and picturesque touristy areas, but easily reachable by public transport.

Even though 2 star hotel, it was comfortable and clean especially the breakfast was good. The personel was polite and helpful especially the lady at the breakfast room. The location is a bit far from city center but great location for beach lovers.

NorwayThe room could have had an additional chair/stool. A kettle would have been convenient as well. The window let through a lot of air, which made the room quite cold (there was air conditioning for heating though, it just seemed like a waste of energy). There was a strong smell of cleaning agent in the room - not sure if it was supposed to cover something up or if switching to a different brand could get rid of this problem.
Convenient location right by the beach, and decent connections to go to the city center (it takes about 30 mins though). The room was nice. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but there are lots of restaurants around.

Short stay in Valencia, likeable area with good connections via public transport to the rest of the city that is too time consuming access on foot. Wonderful city, restaurants and the sailboat area nearby lovely on a good, sunny day. Helpful staff.

I spent wonderful 4 weeks here. First of all I want to point out a personal - responsive and helpful guys. Location cannot be better - on the beach. Additional thanks for the room with a sea view and terrace.

Irelandour room was facing the hallway and had front door directly opposite the stairs. It was very noisy at night as outside air conditioning was making loud squeaky noise and very load in the morning when cleaning staff was working and moving their trollies in the hallway. The toilet was very noisy too. TV only had Spanish channels...

United StatesThe wifi was incredibly slow for being such a modern hotel. The hotel made it clear that mosquitoes may come in if you have a room with a balcony and that mosquito repellent was available upon request, but I think they need to prioritize putting up devices that can repel mosquitoes in every single room. It shouldn't be up to the guests to decide whether or not they don't want to get bitten by mosquitoes. Prevent the problem from happening in the first place!
I liked the comfiness of the bed, the sea view from the balcony, the bathroom/shower, the tv with the ability to cast from your phone.
