Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IndonesiaThe only issue is there was no option for double beds (two different beds in a room) so it was bit not convenient for two travelers sharing a same room.
The room was awesome as it has almost everything. The staff were very helpful; e.g. they helped us to arrange the Alhambra tickets and informed us how to get the bus. They also recommended good restaurant in the city center.

Romania20 min by foot away from the beach which is a lot for small children. Also we would have loved some kitchenware in the room and more vegan options at breakfast (lentils, beans, vegan butter, salads)
The suite was small but highly functional and after a few days we got used to the setting. The kitchenette was also very useful and we liked the fact that the bathroom had a tub and also a shower.

United KingdomWiFi definitely needs to improve. Air conditioning needs fixing. It doesnt work at all just makes the sound as if its working but it doesnt. I wasnt happy with the fact that they charged my non international credit card before we even checked in the hotel without asking us which put me off a little as I got charged extra due to the currency conversion. I was meaning to pay with my international card but they did not even wait or ask for my permission before charging on my UK card.
Nice hotel, near the city centre and walkable distance to lot of restaurants and all the major attractions. We loved the beds and the other facilities. The loo is little too small and separate from the bathrooms which is good but its too tiny (feels like an airport toilet). Wifi doesnt work much which definitely needs improvement. Breakfast was ok as well nothing too great nothing that bad, we arent fussy so it was good for us. The Air conditioning was fake it seemed to us.. it was pleasant weather but we felt so so hot in the room, couldn't sleep on first night then we asked for a fan which the hotel staff was so kind to provide us and then the rest of the nights were ok. Thank you .

HungaryThe suite came without blankets - the room was hot indeed, but we still missed the feeling of having light blankets, so we asked for two at the reception. Apparently the room was hot, because even though I set the room temperature to the lowest, the AC was still heating it up. We were boiling and kept the windows open. Then we were told that the temperature is set up centrally, so we just turned the AC off. The breakfast was ok, it just got boring after the 3rd morning. The cards were not always working in the elevator (when we pointed this out, the receptionists solved the problem immediately).
The location is great, the hotel is close to the historical city centre, the bus station and two bigger malls. We could check-in and check-out during the night, which was a huge advantage because of our flight times. We paid online through booking.com beforehand, so the process was very quick. In the suite we rented out, the toilet and shower were in separate rooms. The staff was nice and helpful. The cleaning ladies didn't only clean, but also left our stuff more organised.

The room is really well designed, with a little kitchenette to make coffee or tea and a toilette separate from the shower. We loved the modern look. I stayed with my mum so I slept in the sofa bed in the room and left her the big bed. The sofa bed was just as comfortable and slept really well.
