the Thalassian spa was a big disappointment and this is what drove me to giving the hotel experience a less than perfect score. There was a terribly loud ventilation noise while in the sauna and pink salt reinvigoration room, so much it drive me to leave as it was anything but relaxing! But the hotel and bar, cafeteria on site are all excellent, skip the spa!

The coffee machine came with only one normal coffee pod and the other one was decaf. We would've liked to make 2 normal coffees in the morning. The suite had a fridge but you had to pay extra for it to be switched on. This was not clear that it's not part of the price and I would've liked to know this before hand.

We received a free upgrade to a suite on arrival to accommodate a baby cot. We ended up staying an additional 2 nights in the suite for full price. The room was amazing and the view incredible.

The only down side for us was that the dinner time was very late for a family with young children; the first sitting is at 8:30pm so by the time you are in and eating it’s closer to 9pm which is very late for us, but understand that this is quite a personal point.

I only have two points; the temperature of food from the buffet is way too cold. I know how hard it is to control temperatures of buffet foods, but serving pasta lukewarm is unacceptable. Make people wait if you need more time, that’s totally ok! It’s better to serve a dish in perfect state, then to serve it fast. If we want fast food, we’ll go to McDonalds 😉 Second, having a ‘ siesta ‘ like break for roomservice is really not up to par for a 4 star hotel. Offering just soup and some canned olives/snacks in between is not enough. We really struggled feeding my son because everything was closed, so I had to take him to a restaurant outside of the hotel. That’s money I wanted to spend IN the hotel. Please let go of the siesta breaks and offer more food options for 24 hour service. People don’t just eat in time slots, they eat when they want too. I’ve spend almost 200,- on roomservice in 1.5 days, could have been 300,- if it wasn’t shut down in the afternoon/early evening.

First of all, I was very surprised at the cleanliness and very attentive staff. They deserve a raise! From the restaurant to the reception and the cleaners, everyone was so lovely. This hotel is very lucky to have so many great people on staff. The kidsclub is a lifesaver, and I was happy to see children were allowed in the spa. My son loved it and he was so relaxed after his spa morning. Wonderful! The choice in foods, both for breakfast and lunch were great. Really something for everyone! I’m a former chef, so I rarely enjoy food outside of my home, but this hotel did a very decent job for a buffet style restaurant. Not too pretentious and not too tacky. I also appreciated the many healthy options. Hotels have a tendency to overdo it with the fried food, but here I found plenty of lean meats and fish, vegetables and fruits. Well done!

We spent more than €600 on a room for 4 nights. We got a little food in the shop and returned to the room to put it into the fridge - which was off. We contacted reception to let them know it wasn't working and were informed that it would be an extra €55 to use the fridge as its part of the kitchen and isn't included in the price. It was disappointing to say the least. Surely its more work to disconnect the fridge than it is to keep it plugged in for paying customers to use when its already in the room. We were told that there was a minibar - which there was. It wasn't cold and didn't fit a medium sized bottle in it.

Everything else. The room was gorgeous. We were on the 28th floor with a view like no other. It was modern, clean and spacious.

Lack of information regarding the minibar, the welcome cocktail was not available the first as we were doing the checking and when we headed to the bar at 18:08 they said it's already expired and the access to the roof terrace in my sincere opinion is a bit messy. You can only book if you pay 80€, if you want to have a drink you cannot stay waiting and the smoking is totally forbidden even in the big lounge terrace in the ground floor. Also we did not like the option that all the booking for the breakfast was full already in the latest shifts.

The location was fantastic, the room with astonishing vviews , confortable, silent and very nice place. The staff were always available and I don't have any complaint except the staff from the roof terrace.

Upon check in the hotel pulled us a trick by not allowing the extra bed/crib for a 2 year old that we requested via email and forced us to pay for an extra room for 3 nights = 900 euro. They were hiding behind the fact that they would get a fine if they were caught with 5 people in a family room…… an outrage especially because they never responded to our initial request where they should have notified us prior to our arrival that it was not possible; they did respond to all kind of minor requests like breakfast etc. Smells like a deliberate move to fill their capacity.

Nice for families. Pool area is great and family rooms are outstanding!

The only think I can say was annoying and I understand it was because of the special Covid situation and prevention of possible transfer of the virus, was the Lifts, which sometimes specially in the morning hours could take as much as 20 minutes to get an empty lift. The breakfast was good, but not great. It was very normal

The room and the View were amazing and we were very satisfied. The staff were amazing and friendly. The location of the hotel was really great and in walking distance form all the attractions of the town. The parking was very convenient and located right under the hotel and it was reasonable priced.
