How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Was a bit noisy some nights as its on the street. Shower could do with an upgrade apart from that everything was brilliant.
Just back from a lovely week in Sunset over the Sea. Lov apartment with all facilties, Great location Close to all bars, restaurants and shops. Lovely big balcony with great views of the sea. Olga is a wonderful host, very helpful and even picked us up and dropped us back to the airport for a nominal fee. Would highly recommend this property and will definitely go back sometime.

Very clean and tidy , excellent location with Costa Adeje and los cristianos within half hour walk either way along the beach , olga was great and arranged transport back to airport for a nominal fee and there was fruit , welcome chocolate etc in the room which had iron , hairdryer, plenty of towels , loo roll etc all there ! Would definitely recommend!

This is a private apartment so it is very quiet. Also has a very quiet pool. Fantastic for a quiet getaway and it is also rite beside the bars and restaurants.

There was something broken in the shower cabin and water flowed out of cabin and on the bathroom floor
Very nice apartment and good location.Kitchen was well equipped and there was everything you need in apartment.Big balcony with great view.Very nice and friendly host.

could of been some fans would be really hot in the summer
the property was in a great location and had a great balcony the pool area was great lovely and clean even though not many people used it. the apartment was perfect for a couple and had everything needed even some complimentary water was left by the host who was also great and communication from Olga was also great. me and my boyfriend chose to extend our family stay and for 4 nights it was great value for money would definitely stay again :)

The property was not the easiest to find as it was in a shared apartment block under a different name.My taxi driver helped me find it by the road number.
Location was great close to sea shops and all amenities including airport bus across the road.Olga was fantastic,I would certainly go again.

Perhaps there could have been a fan or two in the apartment, because during daytime it gets quite hot and because it's close to the busy streets, keeping windows open at night, might not be best option for everybody.
Most of the things about the apartment were wonderful. Olga is a very grateful and helpful host, she even offered to pick me up from the airport. Explained where to go get groceries, explained everything about the building, and was always available if needed. She even welcomed me with complimentary water and fruit and she had all the general supplies in the apartment(salt, tea, coffee, pepper, laundry soaps) The apartment is comfortable, with plenty of space for 2 people, the view is beautiful and it is in a quiet building. Very quiet and peaceful, even during the daytime at the pool. The location is perfect as well, with many restaurants within 5min distance, a very good grocery store as well as beaches and clubs. All in all, even though I only stayed there for a few days, I would gladly stay there again and definitely recommend it to others!

I liked everything
Olga is a fabulous host . The apartment is an excellent choice for a stay in Tenerife. It has a great location within easy reach of shops, beach and restaurants. The apartment is very clean and well stocked with anything you may need during your stay . The views of the sunset from the huge balcony are stunning. The pool is a added bonus . I would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely stay here on my next trip to Tenerife.

You can hear all the noise from the street, we also found the apartment quite warm but the owner said she will make sure this issue will be fixed for future guests
The place is very clean and the owner is extremely hospitable. The area is central, it seemed to be a British neighborhood, there are a lot of pubs. Good place to stay if you want to go partying

kitchen/living room is quite dark because of fixed shutters in front of the half window uncomfortable sofa, seems to be a folding bed leaking shower cabin, vanity unit looks and smells mouldy at the bottom

Amazing swimming pool and the location is great as it is super close to the main beaches of playa de las americas. The property has all the main amenities.
