Only issue was the confusion over where we were staying. not sure if that was to do with booking.com or sunsuites. we thought we were staying at the Carolina suites overlooking the pool and were initially disappointed when we realised we were at the flores apartments and would have a walk of 3-5 minutes to get to the pool. It wasn't the walk that was the issue, more getting a sunbed, not having access to the apartment if you forgot something, just being able to pop back and forwards if you needed anything. However having spent a day in one of the Carolina apartments, (kindly offered for late check out) we realised that although the Carolina apartments were very nice, the Flores apartment was superior. I believe the Carolina apartments are currently being upgraded and we would have been happy to stay there as well.

We loved the view from our apartment, looking over the sea to the playa del ingles beach and the maspalomas dunes. It was very quiet and peaceful there. We were staying in the Flores apartments and the facilities there were great. Everything was provided. Washing up liquid, toiletries, extra towels, dishwasher tablets, tablets for the washing machine, plus a big bottle of water and a basket full of fruit to greet us when we arrived. We also had bread every morning The location was excellent with a choice of 2 supermarkets in the shopping mall along with a huge choice of bars and restaurants just across the road. The bus stop was a 5 minute walk away with a choice of buses

Kids are very welcome, but it's a more place for adults, as there are not many kids facilities.

The staff made us feel very welcomed. Lovely apartment with everything you need. Very well equipped. Really good and quiet location despite the nearby shopping centre .

We booked for 1 night. We were extremely pleased, to have come across this gem of a place, that we decided to book for another 2 nights. Katalina greeted us with a huge smile. On our first day. The 2 bedroom apartment was well equipped, with modern decor and breathtaking views of the sea. Our next 2 days we stayed at the 1 bedroom suite, due to availability. The friendly receptionist, Oliver greeted us at reception. Gave us pool towels & offered us tea coffee or drinks from the fridge that they provide for guests to purchase. Once checked in the room was outstanding a comfortable bed and all mod cons. A breathtaking view of the pool & sea from our lounge area. With the beach so close offering a beach bar & restaurants we thought it offered everything. We definitely want to come back. They also leave fresh bread outside your room in the morning, which is a lovely touch.

Spotlessly clean with beautiful gardens and location looking out over the Atlantic. Great for walks along the promenade and very central for buses and taxis or to restaurants. The staff here are the jewel in the crown...they are all so friendly, hardworking, helpful and genuinely committed to making the guests holiday the best it can be.

Lovely accommodation with friendly staff, receptionist stayed beyond her shift to greet us after our delayed flight. The owners were really helpful, and all the other guests really friendly (with many guests who return each year). Accommodation is quiet and peaceful, not too crowded, so always room near the pool :) Fresh bread rolls left hanging on the door each morning is a lovely touch (thank you) - wish we'd have stayed for longer.

Me and my partner are so glad that we stayed here. It was our first time in Gran Canaria. The hotel is so nice, very comfortable. The staff is amazing and very friendly! Especially i would like to thank Kristina. She was so lovely and very helpful. We stayed in one-Bedroom Apartment with a terrace. We had everything that we need. It was nice to sit in our terrace and enjoy our drinks and the pool views. The location is so good. There is a big shopping centre just behind the hotel. You can find 2 supermarkets and many cafes&restaurants. The beach is literally front of the hotel and it's stunning. Bus stop and taxi station are only 5 min walking away. Definitely we will stay there again!

There is nothing that I could say negative about Sunsuites Carolina.

This is our second time staying in Sunsuites Carolina, and again it was just great, the apartment has everything you need ,the lovely touch of fresh bread rolls delivered to your door. The location is ideal close to beach and shops and great for long walks . Staff couldn't be more helpful even providing umbrellas when you get a tropical storm .

The beds! Mattresses were very soft, more like a piece of foam and pillows were not much better. All the bedding could probably do with renewing.

Lovely friendly small apartment complex. Apartments were very clean and spacious. Sunbeds were always available. The apartments are very quiet with no entertainment or pool music, perfect if you just want to relax and chill or use as a base. We felt it was very safe and secure with key access on all the gates. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Spar supermarket is located across the road in the shopping centre. Restaurants and bars are also located in the shopping centre although it wasn’t our choice to use them, we preferred to walk along the front for about 20/30 minutes to the many restaurants there. Taxi back was 5/6€. The bus stop was on the main road at the far side of the shopping centre, we used this to visit other resorts along the coast. Would highly recommend. We felt the apartments offered excellent value for money and included little extras like pool towels and dressing gowns, that you usually only get in larger 4* hotels. Would love to return at some point for some more winter sunshine.

We have been to Sunsuites Carolina before. Therefore we knew what to expect and look forward to. The beach is just a minute away from Sunsuites Carolina. You have the sun all day long. The supermarkets, cafes and restaurants etc. are right behind the appartments. The new WLAN is fantastic.

No dedicated parking, finding a space was a challenge after 9.30am each day. Limited restaurants nearby, unless you're content eating in the commercial centre.
