It’s the same as all places in Madrid but they just raise their prices so much at the weekend! I originally paid £22 for one night and when I wanted to extend to Friday the price more than doubled which was a shame. To pay £58 for a hostel dorm room is a bit crazy because in most places you can get a private room for that amount

Was so impressed with this hostel! Friendly staff, everything was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable and shower was great. Really eased me into solo travelling :)

Sometimes the terrace door next to my bed would be open making the room cold, then later it would get boiling hot from the AC. I wish the temperature was better regulated in the shared rooms.

Pretty much all good. The place was easy to find, in a very convenient location. There was a nice bar and a chill area where I could even work from. Bunk beds had enough privacy and comfort.

Located not on the Main Street. I felt safe but the local reminded me to be alert because there might be thieves in this neighborhood Better to come back before darkness.

Good location walkable to metro and most of the main attractions. Free welcome beer and good vibe in the bar.

Breakfast time was too late. It should have been open latest 7:00 am, not 8:00 am. I was not able to have my breakfast because I had to leave before 8 am.

Only drawbacks are the hand basin in the room rather than the bathroom so it’s a bit noisier if someone is using during the night. The room door is not soundproof to the corridor and unfortunately my dorm was beside the stairs and could hear everytime the stair door was opened/closed and if people were talking in the corridor it sounded quite loud in the room.

Great location, and lovely lobby and bar attached to the hostel. Stayed in 4-bed female dorm. Beds are comfy and have socket, shelf and privacy curtain. Handy to have both under bed locker and freestanding locker.

Can be a little stuffy if we don’t open the windows (there’s AC but fresh air would be nice too). The room was facing the courtyard and it can be a little noisy at night from the restaurant/bar. There is no kitchen to use (no fridge or microwave) but we were able to take utensils from the restaurant if we need it.

Very large hostel - has 2 buildings. Bunk beds were very sturdy and safe.

The room i was assigned with has already broken curtains so it couldn’t really close all the way.

The location was perfect. I walked through everything from Plaza Mayor to Plaza Real. It’s really convenient and nice to walk around the neighborhood and admire the streets of Madrid.

Breakfast is worth the add-on. It’s like an extra $5-10 a day, which is about what could get at a cafe elsewhere in the city. But it’s great if you want to just eat and then head out. There is very little / not very good vegetarian options, FYI. Beds are super comfy, the blackout curtains are great as well. Having plugs and personalized lights is so wonderful, compared to other hostels. The guided tours were amazingly, and the WiFi actually works which is so helpful. There are also areas for you to work, but gotta shoo some people speaking loudly or taking calls to find another area. The staff’s English is really good, and they’re super helpful. Bathroom is cleaned daily. Lockers are spacious, so you get one under your bed, and one in the bathroom. You even get cubbies for your bathroom supplies (like toothbrush, toothpaste).
